I am guessing you either pick a basically gun perk and one attachment or skip the proficiency all together and get 2 attachments EDIT Attachments is a proficiency, its the ability to have 2 attachments.

Perk 1
Recon - Explosive damage paints the target on the mini map + Bullet damage paints the target on the mini map.
Sleight of Hand - Faster reloading + Swap weapons faster.
Blind Eye - Undetectable by air support and sentries + Launchers lock on quicker. Extra Bullet Damage versus air support and sentries.
Extreme Conditioning - Sprint for longer distances + Climb obstacles faster.
Scavenger - Unknown but I think the only question here is if we will refill claymores/bouncing betties/C4
Perk 2
Quickdraw - Faster aiming + Recover from equipment and grenade usage quicker.
Blast Shield - Increased explosive resistance + Resistance to flash and stun.
Hardline - Killstreaks require 1 less kill + Every two assists counts as a kill towards your killstreak. Deathstreaks require 1 less death.
Assasin - Undetectable by UAV, portable radar, and heartbeat sensors. + Immune to CUAV and EMP. No red crosshair or name when targeted.
Overkill - Back from COD4, perk allows you to carry two primaries but pro features are unknown. I would guess attachments/proficiencies are allowed on second primary with Overkill Pro.

Perk 3
Marksman - Identify enemy targets at long range + Longer hold breath (Similar to the spotting system in BFBC2?)
Stalker - Move faster while aiming + Delay enemy Claymore explosions.
Sitrep - Detect enemy explosives and tactical insertions + Louder enemy footsteps
Steady Aim - Increased hip fire accuracy + Weapon is ready faster after sprinting.
Dead Silence - Unknown, silent footsteps but what else?


Deathstreaks
4 Juiced - Move faster for a few seconds after spawning. I don't see a problem with this, could help out big time if spawn trapped.
5 Revenge - You'll see the position of the enemy the last enemy that killed you.
4 Final Stand - Assume its the same as MW2
4 Martyrdom - Drop a grenade upon death
6 Deadman's Hand - Rumor is its basically a suicide bomber thing but with C4?
5 Hollow Points - Stopping power for 1 kill

Map voting is back and max level is 80.

i always do the campaign first just to get through it. i like seeing where the multiplayer levels come from. i was big into Domination in the previous games but i think im gonna give TDM more attention this go around. have been doing that as of late with a buddy in MW2 and am enjoying it.

Honestly, we play just about every night between 8pm to about 12 or 1am EST.

Anyone want to take a shot at guessing what gun is going to be WAY over powered at launch?

I've seen a video with the ACR 6.8 in it. And it appears to have a lot more kick to it. Not sure what calibur was represented in MW2, most likely the 5.56. 6.8 I believe is the same calibur as the AK-47.

Can't wait to install this game and do work!

To be honest, I think we should set up a private match of domination with all of us in here, and run around the maps before we jump in the public MP. What do you guys think? I know it was a common thing to do this when the mappacks came out. Figure out the choke points, the spawns, and those "setup shop" spots.

BTW, I do want to shout out my Vortex crew. When we rolled 6 deep in some Search, we were unstoppable. I didn't play much Ground War b/c of my internet connection, but I'm set up now with some cable internet. When I started BO, my k/d and w/l were in the negative. When I traded my disc in I left a million and half COD points to my g/t, had winning streak (still active) of 69 games, a W/L of 1.9 and a k/d of 1.5. Thanks guys.

FYI...

If you post here on the Vortex and play COD/BF3/or whatever, its safe to say that you are automatically apart of the Vortex Crew, like it or not. DEPENDING on how good you are will determine if you get invites from certain people though. (Reality Check) haha

With that said, private matches to learn the maps and the feel and flow of the game is kind of a must. We all should be 2+ in w/l and k/d this season. And yess... that means no rushing around the map for me, which tends to destroy my k/d some nights. I'm going to try to be more of a silent but deadly team player than raging one man nut.

My new network connection makes a huge difference. Had a ton of fun last year with blops... it seems every year or so the "crew" changes a ton. This year though i see a repeat of the same 261...with the exception of laser. =)
