That was a fun game. I thought (albeit too late) we should stop killing them so you could go for a moab, but we were at 7000 and a few of your kills were from the Reaper (I think) so you'd need more than that in order to get it.

Popped on over the weekend and played for the first time in a month or so.

Holy chit..... The game seemed so fast, LOL. Had a hell of a time landing shots.

I actually got 2 Reapers back to back. One in a care package and one in a 9 kill streak. My last 7 or 8 kills were with the reaper. I have that game saved in my theater.

I think your rage quitting pissed off voltron enough that when he was removing randoms that never play yesterday he took you off too.

When he mentioned it previously I (and others) argued that actually removing someone for something like that was taking it way too seriously and that if it actually pissed people off they'd avoid playing with you. I still stand by that and am uncertain how I feel about him just going ahead and doing it on his own to be honest.

Thanks for the answer. It's a pretty douchebag move IMO. A little heads up would be nice since this incident was more than a month ago. I'm not the only one that rage quits. It saves me from throwing another controller through the wall. I guess the clan got what they wanted from me...my elite membership.

Am I missing something but the person who is leading the clan isn't a part of Vortex? I thought that's how this started.

no, it was a mix of vortex/261/another group. It was all guys that we played with on xbox.

granted I don't play with y'all anymore, but IMO things were going downhill the minute we started allowing randoms into the clan. TBoB was supposed to be folks that knew each other (or knew someone that knew someone), not any random pub with a barely positive KD that could whore us their founder status. Between the condescension of our "leader" Voltron (directed at myself and others at times) and the massive nut-hug-band-wagoning clique mentality that developed over a few months it really sucked the fun out of things.

I left MW3 due to boredom, I'll be back to it eventually. my gaming comes in phases, and I'm currently in a BF3 phase

Edit: Finally happened with me and MC. That was my longest run on any game since halo 1 though. tried playing a few nights ago and got bored after 10 minutes.

This whole clan thing was never intentional, and had it not been for the Elite features, we wouldn't be TBoB today. I know I owe it to Bastion and Laser for bringing me in to the mix with you guys and it kills me to see him booted like this. I don't like the rage quits, but I enjoy playing with Bastion.

I don't think TBoB should look at itself like a normal clan. We're not. The only reason we became a clan is because Elite allowed us to. That's why I don't like the idea of letting randoms in for the sake of making our clan bigger, and I don't like the idea of booting people that we are actually friends with.

My position has been consistent since I began playing xbox with everyone here. I use it to decompress after work at night. I grab a beer or four, and electronically shoot at screaming 12 year old racists.

When all this first came up about a month ago I flat out told Ian I didn't want to kick people because at that point it stops being a stupid video game and becomes somewhat serious...and thats not what I want. The regulars from here all agreed. I like to mess around with the regulars and have fun (as we've done for literally years now). I feel he takes video games a little too seriously.

MW3 has been a cluster **** from the start. We gotta start fr-fr-freshhhh with Blops2. Dash got an unfair advantage in the prestige race when I got kicked out of my house, we played wayyy to much TDM for my liking, and we lost sight of Search/Demo.

Dash shoulda been the leader of TBoB but oh well, nothing we can do now.
