Decided to get some "temp" wheels for the car while I wait for my new wheels to come in/get refinished. The only criteria I had was that they have to be something cheap/simple that fit over my new brakes since the only set I have right now are stock classix. Looked around for days and didn't find anything I liked that was in stock.

Long story short I ended up ordering the most difficult/dumb setup for temporary wheels... 18x9.5 et15 5x114.3 but hey at least they'll look good.

I think I have a serious mental problem.

      These:

I ran the calculations and they will poke 13mm more in the front than my Schmidts did since I'll be running camber plates so that sets the top in about 8-9mm. And 16mm more in the back, before playing with more camber. Might need a slight pull on the front fenders

      REN!

Jesus. that's all I have to say.

When Mike told me the brakes were supposed to go on a certain "bt mk5 midwest car" I had no idea it was yours. Mainly, I had no idea you were BT. I am glad you stopped into my thread, so I could come check out yours and realize what you've been up to. Nicely, nicely done. And the vr6 CC. We share similar DD's.

I'm excited to see you get the new tarox's on, loving mine and the car hasn't even been lifted off the stands yet, lol.

Id love to do a pull with your car someday. My guess is due to your displacement and flawless shifts you might take me. The only thing Ill have on you is weight.

Anyway, great job on your car and thanks again for stopping in my thread. See ya around this season hopefully.

p.s. keep the rpf1's forever, those were my only other wheel I considered before the grids. and I still have a huge soft spot for them.

Thanks man, I'm definitely excited about my tarox's. Good catch on the daily too, I like your b6 a lot. Guess we have similar tastes, something about great minds? Will the Jetta be making the trip to Eurowerks or Eurohangar?

Looking at that I'm happy about how my rears will sit, but the fronts will be a bit difficult to pull off. Looking into getting the backpad milled 3-5mm.

not sure, Im not trying to rush the jetta's debut towards anything, because I want it all done right without any shortcuts. But if its running and I am free, I hope to make it to one of both. Dom will also be traveling a bit this summer, and her and I are going to sowo, so if we can fit these trips around everything else, maybe.

      "great minds think alike"

I dont know if you bought/leased the CC, but if you havent already, taking out the center suitcase makes it sound GREAT. Also, pm if you are thinking about getting software for it.

      looking forward to the updates

Probably will do H2O again this year. I noticed you're in Ohio, are you going to Eurohangar in Michigan?
