I have less than 1500 miles on a brand new clutch flywheel pp and clutch slave. I'd be willing to pay tst for the install of the kit as I CAN'T STAND DRIVING MY car anymore
i have two test cars now using them and it works.
i sent out the final version of the product to 2 other cars to test this week
and i sent out a deiffernt version to another yesterday as well.....
i'll have solid answers REALLY soon now. we can take care of the install if you wish!

tell me about it.. not to mention having stiff engine mounts will cause or make my vibration seem worse than it is because the clutch is engaged when I have the clutch pedal in.

sometimes if my clutch sticks hard my idle will change and start to vibrate. I have even heard my clutch howl so usually I just pump it a few times to get it to stop.

Not sure how, but I have been lucky. I have never had any engagement/disengagement issues and my SB clutch is going on 2.5 years now with no issues. How are all you guys bleeding your clutch? I bled my slave separately before installing it into the trans.

we have last years one lap car that had a south bend in it and NO issues still.... BUT we have had MORE cars with issues then without.
we have bled the system EVERY WAY possible, best so far is a pressure bleeder from the master...thats awesome for us.

I could use these as well.

Plus, where's this BREATHER. Ya'll spoke of a breather. And, how do you bleed the clutch behind the pedal??

I run an FX400 6 puck + steel flywheel on my VRT (24v). After installing the clutch / fw under light throttle the shift between 1st and 2nd gets "sticky". I have to either double clutch or force it slowly to 2nd. This also sometimes happens on light load from 2nd to 3rd. Also sometimes in 1st with the clutch pedal down the car will creep forward - it'll creep like that in reverse too.

^^ my old clutch was like that too, but it was a full face

I've tried everything I know of - replaced the breather, replaced the clutch slave and bench bled it before installing, pressure bled the system, replaced the lines....

    Old clutch and pressure plate:

How's the shim working out? Is it available for sale yet? I'll try anything at this point....

this is a thread to fix the issue not what clutch to get...... for 100 to 150 or whatever the shim kit is going to cost is way better for the 2+k you have to pay for a new cm850 . ....

np, they were bumping it because they want one of these cool shims. I have no issues still.. Little binding in first but honestly I mean really from having to turn the car off every time to get out of reverse to a little binding going to first at a light and I mean very very very little.. not 100% hell maybe 2%.. Get these bad boys out there.

I guess the only negative I can say about the FX850 would be that if I'm in traffic, I can tell the plates are getting hot or it seems like they're getting hot because I notice a much stickier engagement.

I also notice that sometimes it'll engage briefly when the pedal is depressed
