    holding off the sale until I fix some things..

    1980 caddy turbo diesel 5 speed (FF trans)

    A lot of parts replaced on this.

    Exterior:
    diamond silver (paint is rough). light surface rust here and there. screw holes on outer bed from tie down points

    no rot on this caddy. came from cali previous owner: coolerow

    Motor:
    eco motor from 91 jetta, k-14 and turbo pump. missing down pipe right now. non a/c model.
    scirocco style radiator (non resevoir). all new mounts. timing belt/tensioner two years ago.
    block heater 1 year ago.

    Suspension/brakes:
    vmax coils, 3 inch bfi plates everything up front replaced with-in last 4 years. (poly bushings, control arms, ball joints, tie rods, ect)

    front brakes off 91 cabriolet with crossdrilled rotors and stainless braided lines. rear; new drums, shoes and bearings about three four years ago.

    Wheels: 13" steel wheels with crap tires.

    Interior: all black, except for plaid headliner. momo steering wheel.

    Needs:

    -down pipe, and exhaust

    -Tires

    -have carpet, but not installed.

    Has starting issue, especially when hot.. not sure if its a pump issue or not.

    how much more does it need to run or is it running already, be in texas, i wanna know if i have to drive it or haul it or ship it. what would you suggest

    once its running, it runs awesome. sometimes, restarting once its hot is difficult. What i have to do to get it started again is to prime the pump. some reason it loses pressure in the fuel line. maybe air is getting in somewhere.

    got a great mk2 scirocco. great daily driver. lots of maintenance work. i would love to trade with ya but im a good distance away and we would have to arrange something to work that out. Let me know if youre interested.
