Earlier in the month, we provided an update on Dawnguard's status for PS3.

It's been a few weeks, and we wanted to make sure everyone knows where we're at with Dawnguard. Skyrim is a massive and dynamic game that requires a lot of resources, and things get much more complex when you're talking about sizable content like Dawnguard. We have tried a number of things, but none of them solve the issue enough to make Dawnguard good for everyone. The PS3 is a powerful system, and we're working hard to deliver the content you guys want. Dawnguard is obviously not the only DLC we’ve been working on either, so the issues of adding content get even more complicated. This is not a problem we’re positive we can solve, but we are working together with Sony to try to bring you this content.

We wish we had a more definitive answer right now. We understand the frustration when the same content is not available on all platforms. When we have an update, we will certainly let you know. We deeply appreciate all the time and support you have given us, and we’ll keep doing our best to return that.

So, I built a house Kinda lame that I can't arrange the furniture (or the floor plan really) the way I want. What do you Ps3 folks think?

Still, for five bucks, I'll get Five dollars of entertainment out of it, as soon as I spend 47 hours finding, mining, buying, and looting iron ingots and ore, and another 67 building and decorating

I stopped playing skryim as much as I used to. For me it just got to be really repetative and I got bored.

I'd taken some time off, and finally got back on last night. I had just cleared out the unmarked bandit hideout that's sort of under Whiterun, stolen the horse, and Jenassa and I are headed to the stables when I see this NPC running the same direction. He's ahead of me, and running full bore around the rocks and streams. I gallop the horse up to catch him, and it's.... yep, yet another Louis Letrush. He goes running through the Khajit encampment, jumps onto the head of the half a Louis Letrush like a trampoline, and then runs right past the rest of them before skidding to a stop, turning around and joining their crew. Mind = blown

I will come back to Skyrim sometime in the winter. Right now I'm setting up all my mods for a play through of Fallout New Vegas. I got all the DLC for cheap during the Steam summer sale so it's back out to the Wasteland

i've been out of the skyrim game since just before dawnguard released and now hearing that another one came out today i definitely need to get back into this game. only issue is my account has 0 microsoft points left, so i'lll need to purchase some more.

before i do, does anyone know of any current deals on microsoft points besides the standard price of 1600pts/$20? these expans seem like just what i need in order to get away from diablo 3 for a while

Finally got back into Skyrim after a 6 month hiatus. Here's my current character: Laila the Nord. Tex mods galore plus Immersive Armors and Immersive Weapons.

I downloaded it and started playing Dragonborn DLC this week. It's nice to get away from Skyrim and off to another location - Soltsheim. Interesting new enemies - the Lurker is quite cool as is the werebear but the reiklings are pretty funny. I can't say it's challenging for my character as I'm level 63. But, then again, I've got 180hrs into the game on this character so the game is addictive.

I really enjoy Dragonborn (though the main plot should've beeen a bit more substantial). The entire Mora realm thing is like a Hentai wetdream

Skyrim Add-Ons Land on PS3 in February, 50% off for One Week

Yay! It's about goddamn time.

I need to brush up on my skills and get back into things in preparation for this.

My last playthrough was melee heavy but to me there's always something lacking in a melee heavy playthrough. So I finished that character and started a mage playthrough.

Mods include Ethereal Elven Overhaul (so she has a normal face and doesn't look like a goblin), aMidianborn Book of Silence (HD retexes of all armors; elven armor gets a black with gold trim option), and Winter is Coming (fur cloaks and hoods).

After 950 hours of play, I finally have all achievements... which lasted for about 1 hour as I preordered the Dragonborn DLC so I have 12 hidden achievements now. Bugger.

Anyway, here's the level 81 dark elf mage I've been playing. Finally gave the vampire run a go.

Holy god I saw the 5th last week and got excited. Then I found out it was PC only that day, but I figured PS3 must be the next tuesday.

Now I am sad it's the 19th, but happy we finally have a date.

The PS3 has been treated like a red-headed stepchild w.r.t. DLC so this is a good thing

Anyway... last pic before Dragonborn DLC. She's decided to fully embrace her new (un)life. The heroic elven armor has been put away and now she sports super-smithed-and-enchanted vampire armor. She also regularly transforms into her vampire lord form (which is way too much fun).

New mods include craftable vampire armor with HD retexes.



EDIT: Somewhat funny story. The vampires gave me a radiant mission to go kill the Dawnguard leaders so I sneak inside the fortress and cast invisibility. I had read that one of them sells a couple of anti-undead spells and being a completionist I had to go and buy them but they will all go hostile upon seeing me (must be the glowing eyes and vamp armor that no one else seems to pick up on ). Anyway, the leaders were all having dinner so I walked right up to the table while invisible and cast harmony. Now they're all calm and relaxed and not quite as stabby as usual. I then talk to the merchant and buy the two spells. Then I cast mass paralysis and proceed to eliminate them all. I can hear the conversation in my head.

Uthali: And here's your gold. Nice doing business with you. By the way I'm a vampire.
