I hae had severals cars with the windshield tinited... not as bad as is sounds, and in the day, its awesome!!

At night, a good set of Euro Spec lights and your set.

Headlights only point forward, not to your side. Even with my 60% tint and 20/20 vision, one night I was surprised how hard it was to see if someone was on the crosswalk. I had to roll my window down and that was with 60% tint. I can't even imagine the darker tint on the sides and the windshield on top of that. IMO that is dangerous, but to each is own.

I agree...I've had my integra with the windshield tinted with 35% and it was fine for me day and night. I used a reflective window tint vs. the typical smoked w/o and metal in it. The reflective tint that I've experienced are easier to see out of than typical smoked tint.

I since had to replace the windshield due to a huge crack and it wont pass VA inspection. I didnt get it tinted again, b/c I couldnt find anyone good enough to tint it for me. Windshields are supposedly trickier to tint, if you apply too much heat while shrinking it down it will could crack it more so than other other window, or at least thats what my tinting guy told me.

Now that I've gotten LASIK done, I just pop on my Oakleys and I'm good! lol! But I do miss the cool look the car has with all window tinted!

I was concerned with the windshield tint, but it's only 50%.

Looks darker in my pics since it was cloudy.

My wife and i had ours done at the same tom She declined the windshield.

After she sat in mine the first thing she did was ask when he was going to do the windshield. Even at night you can barely tell.

i did the headlights myself... i'm thinking about tinting the amber turns and putting them back on, not sure yet. i was able to do so because i picked up a pair of used ones in case i completely trashed these in my attempt. so i have some new/used headlights if anyone wants to try it. i'll sell for 150 each +shipping

So, I glad I got this car, named it Jackie(2012 Passat Se). This is my 1st time to lease a car yet alone purchase one! So far the ride has been superb. I read some articles about how the car is not as preppy as it competitors, but did they ever used the sports feature?! Man, that feature makes the car come alive imo..
