I'm stoked to see more work getting done. Coming from a painter/body guy- your repairs look great especially for a first try and using flux. I've seen worse work come from experienced guys with proper tooling. Keep it up man! You gonna makr it down to sowo by chance?

Thanks, I'll have to poke on over through your thread again and see how you're coming along. Still no word on the interior, I haven't picked up the other car yet. The other half of my garage has been taken over by a Suby with a blown engine.... As far a s SOWO, that's a trek, it sure would be a fun trip, i'm just not good at long distance driving..I get sleepy.
I got the entire left side of the engine complete, t'belt, water pump, alt, most of the wire harness cut up and roughly routed. Working late tomorrow, might get a little more finished when I get home.

So I was driving this thing today and noticed that I didn't hit the rev limiter at all... I took it almost all the way up to 7k. I know my last ABA cut out around 5,500, maybe it's chipped. I need to take the ECM apart for curiosity....For those who haven't ridden in the car... This thing rips
I lost interest in this car for quite some time. Was walking through the salvage yard and came across a Rabbit with Autumn Tan interior. I had to buy it, so now I'm back all in. I picked up a few extra things that I'll post up at a later time. This little Superior Performance Products The "500" steering wheel looked pretty neat too. Thought I would throw that in as well.
