      Here are mine tinted one coat didn't like the pink appearance of the oem ones.
      MY BUILD | 2003 Volkswagen GTI 1.8T | CTT - Carrot Top Tuning - GT3076r, 3" to 2.5" turboback exhaust (vbanded), Tial 38mm wastegate, fx400 6 puck, Peloquin LSD, VF Poly Engine Mounts, Greddy Profec B Type II, walbro 255 inline fuel pump, ID1600cc @ 3bar running on e85. AMB head, AWD bottom end. 434whp 369wtq @ 30psi (OLD: 383 whp 333wtq @ 23 psi)

      those seem pretty good too

      i too went through the "let'smakemytaillightsblack" and i mean BLACK.

      sold them to some kid for $50 on ebay. a lot of people go through the stage, just trying to keep people from doing what i did.

      smoke tail lights were popular right after fast and the furious era
      besides theirs allot of domestic cars with black tail lights and wheels meaning they are buisness as in for racing

      True I don't know how the Altezza-style lights became known as euro when it is a Japenese car.

      Now that 30% tint on the jetta tails look nice, I may have to do that to mine.
