Bought pretty much all of my new interior parts today. Can't wait for spring to get everything installed. It won't be anything crazy, but I'm pretty excited about it![]()

Polo 6n bushingsI'm on konis; did everything I could to get lower, but I'm really happy with where I'm at. Any lower and it'll be on air.
And of course, I'll always better willing to give people advice even though it might not be the best. I've certainly learned a lot after all this; I'd do it a lot different if I had a garage and the time/money. I'm a full time student with a full time job so taking the semester off to do this was a big commitment.

this is all so nuts because 1.) You did this all in the street.(wire tuck and all) 2.) It seems like you drank insane amounts of beer through the process. 3.) you didn't think of just getting rid of the bastard! and 4.) you did it all relatively quick!

Thanks, Joey. I'm not sure this thing will every truly be done though
Honestly, if you have the tools, I'd say it's really not that hard, just time consuming. Engine lift, soldering iron, MIG, basic hand tools, supplies, and a brain. If you can get those things you should be able to make it out alive. If I did it again I'd do less soldering and more depinning
Thanks![]()

Did the headliner this weekend. Not too happy with the results, but it's good enough.
I actually returned the previous threads and picked up this. Not a stretchy, but I love the dark plum color!

Starting the pillars. You can see the difference of the color the way the sun hits it.

Making a mess!
More or less the final result. Color looks really light in pics. I'll have to take some with my dslr when I get the chance

I have so much respect for upholsterers after doing this job. I honestly don't think I'd do this again.
