I want a 3-bar with the center bars painted dark, and clears don't look good with a dark grille. Color matched grilles look silly on SA, so I can't really do that again. I really don't feel like changing out the tails, either.. they look great smoked on the SA.

Any smoked turn or fog sticks out like a sore thumb where they're at on the MK3 bumper. I really don't want to deal with shaving the bumpers, so I just want something that goes with the body color as much as possible, and in this case, clear does the trick.

I may change my mind later down the road so we'll see

You need Those clear tops/red bottom tails. Look like M3 tails? And then Clear ecodes. Dundundunnn.

IMO, these turn/fogs stick out and just look out of place making the front end look especially busy.


These seem to match the body and attract the eye less making the smoked headlights and dark grille the main focus of the front.

I think that would work lovely with textured moldings and a blacked out grill. It's pretty much what I want to do.

I agree on the no texture. The PO of my car textured the rubs and bumpers....but it will be going back to solid Sequoia Green after tax season.

I used to dislike the Jettas until I saw a few that were done right. The 9 hours driving back from H2O, looking at Trey's car pretty much made me decide it was time to sell my GTI. Plus, I feel like the Jetta is a little more mature and practical.
