    Usually is right!

$4900 is what I paid for this completely unmolested, extremely clean, rust-free, lower-mileage Southern Jetta with records and a clean history.

Too much? I guess it's in the percieved eye, but I think that's a deal. Most GLXs I came across had rust, horrible leathers, awful body work, problems and a bunch of miles(150k+) and were still asking between 5-6k. Of course you can find them MUCH cheaper, but not without problems.

I picked mine up in very similar condition (unmolested, lowish miles, clean interior, minimal rust) about 3 years ago for $4,300.

Your paint looks like it was kept well compared to mine when I got it , so $4,900 is definitely reasonable.

Took the time the other day to get my smoked Ecodes installed, but also noticed how my grille and headlights seem to not fit the way I wish they would. I assume either the bumper or radiator support needs to be aligned a little bit better. I'll deal with that mess when I pull the front end off as I delete the SAI system.

Got the car out for more photos so everyone can see.

Car isn't super low or anything right now as the motor hasn't been raised yet. I plan on replacing the coolant hoses and making a hockey puck motor mount DIY for everyone on this next update. I just ordered my solid G60 mount which will also go in at the same time.

Best thing I ever did was replace my front mount with pucks and the tranny mount with a solid G60 mount. Definitely going that route again with this car

Black and silver looks good, but I absolutely HATE tint. At this point, I would rather tie my dick to my foot and replace my timing chains, than pull the tint off my windows.

that picture just made me lawl

    I forgot to mention..

I noticed my driver's seat-back seems loose and wiggly.. I did some searching around and didn't really find anything for an explanation or remedy... any ideas why and what I can do? I haven't check the bolts holding down the seats yet, but I can't imagine that would cause the seat-back to be wiggly.

    I'll check that out.

I don't feel like it's the bottom part of the seat, but almost as if the seat back wiggles right at the "hinges" where you turn the knob to recline the seat. Slider bushings could very well be the culprit, though.

We found on Trey's car, that by raising his engine to fix axle bind, the TB bashes the underside of the hood and leaves a huge upward dent. In other words, I wouldn't suggest it lol.
