    SOLD

    This was a package set up that was bought for a 2.0 8v motor build that never came to fruition. This set on an Audi 3a 2.0 bubble block will give you 16v power. I'm not interested in splitting this up. The head is currently setup for CIS injectors but the seats can easily be swapped out, they are merely threaded in, for Digi injector seats.

    This will include all the necessary install hardware new OEM bolts and gaskets.

    $650 shipped (lower 48)

    266 Techtonics cam PN 109 078. Polished Techtonics Adj. cam gear PN 109 060


    NEW Cylinder Head PN 109 029 8V GTI/GLI. Complete and ready for install. 40mm intake x 33mm exhaust valves with standard cam. Direct replacement for '85-'87 8V GTI/GLI/Audi 4000S. Upgrade from 38mm intake to 40mm for standard '85-'87 Golf/Jetta with GX engine and '87-'90 Fox. Will upgrade(replace) solid lifter 1.8L heads with CIS to hydraulic lifter for no valve adjustments and a quieter engine. This was mocked up on a 2.0 block on the stand. And comes w/ Bosch Platinum +3 plugs.

    Free bump for you, that's a nice setup. Do you have it listed in the Mk2 or engine classifieds? You may get more visibility there.

    Thanks. Yeah I've got it listed in ALL applicable threads, lots & lots of leads for sure. Guess people don't under stand this is a 16v equalizer, the 16 is just over rated and has about the worst flow design ever I still have a project on the back burner that this may go on so I'm holding out, I'm not desperate for the money.

    I suppose you've read the old article written by the guy from Drake about the 16v and how crappy he perceived it to be?

    I'm totally with you & have never been a fan of the 16v. Don't get me wrong, yes they do make some more power, but the cost of parts (and modifications), and they are not as readily available turn me off from the 16v.
