    ***Price reduced to $6,500

You guys have probably seen this car before and the PO did a great job. The only work I had done was an electrical rewire in the engine to clean it up and solve a faulty ground and a new battery. Work was done professionally. Well, I've went back to school and no longer have the time to dedicate to this car. I've driven it about every weekend with confidence, often hundreds of miles at a time. Even drove it home from upstate New Jersey to Maryland, around 250 miles. Anyway, this car should go to someone who has the time to enjoy it properly.

    The car has:
highway flyer transmission and Scat shifter
polished, staggered porsche 7 slots on Falken tires with great treadlife left (sale also includes original steelies on correct euro metric tires)
interior is from a 64 (sale also includes original 71 interior...new carpet kit has been reglued)
lowered a few splines in the back and front
    custom over/under exhaust
    Pedro roof rack
No floor rust, all has been removed and/or repaired by PO

Overall the car is a solid runner and a realistic 10 foot car.

Hey Chris, sorry to see that you are selling it. Good luck with it.

For anyone interested in buying the car, here is the build thread from when I owned it. It goes over everything that's been done to the car since January of 2008. It includes every possible picture you could want and a few videos.

Absolutely. The car runs strong and Chris has gone through the last of the electrical issues.

Thanks Raf, I went back to school and wouldn't you know it...they actually want me to do work and stuff. I don't want it to just sit in the garage, it needs to be driven. That being said, the price is right and yes, it could be a daily driver.

I have pics of the undercarriage that I will be putting up soon.

if this was my daily, it would be the only car i have. so it would have to make it through the snow and all of that. would you trust it? something about this style of car, and specifically this one does it for me. i currently drive a CC, and the lease is up in march and i want something old school. i love the color of the car inside and out. when you get a chance, could we see all those other pics? under carriage, engine compartment and any other goodies? also if you have any info on the mileage of the motor and trans and all that.

The engine is not original, Raf correct me if I'm wrong on this. It was replaced around 7 years ago? I believe it is GEX, and is 1600cc. It runs strong, doesn't miss fire and is a smooth runner once it gets warm. The transmission is a highway flyer, meaning the third and fourth gear have been swapped out so it can cruise at highway speeds without worrying about getting creamed. As for the snow, I'd put the stock tires on the car which are included in the sale. They are also in great shape. PM me with your email for more pictures, I'll try to get them online.

Pictures of undercarriage. Overall in really good shape for a 40 year old car with surface rust only where you'd expect it. Suspension, transmission, floor pans etc all solid.

Let's get this car sold. I'll be taking the car out once more this weekend before I get it ready for the winter months. It will still be for sale, just resting comfortably in the garage waiting for its new owner.
