the downpipe is aluminized steel. usually any exhaust stuff i do out of 304 stainless so it lasts forever, but since its getting boosted in the future and that downpipe will be removed, the aluminized is half the price and will last at least 5 years.
Dont get regular mild steel to do an exhaust it will be rotted out in a year or two

Just stopped back to confirm the car is a beast!
My car traps 100mph, and this bunny pulled me top end. easy 102 trap speeds from boltons/cams.

Thought id have some video to add but something got ****ed up in the file and i lost audio. video minus audo of this beast would do it no justice.

    in car video:

excuse my crappy shifting. my second day with the car coming from a nice 8v w/
OSVW T-shifter and USRT shift linkage. This shifter box is a little sloppy.

Nice meeting you at H20. I was the guy telling you that you will get no traction going turbo on your car. Never realized the car was flat black. Looks great!!

    great build
love the cluster and VR work

    i noticed this switch
which appears to contact if the engine touches the control arm

also....you have to remove the oil pan (or engine) to remove that control arm bolt
    oh well

what does the switch DO? besides activate something when the engine hits the control arm?

...or am i missing something, and that DOODAD doesnt really go there yet

thx for the props guys. nice meeting you all! h2o as usual was a blasty blast and had a lot of fun. car is running very well. Minus the alternator mishap on the way to OCMD, everything is splendid.

that switch is no longer there. I believe that pic was for the mock up fit because everything on the engine is black. I can get to all the bolts without removing anything thats why i believe this was an earlier pic.
