I'm just going to tape my old headgasket to the back window so you don't have to put the cylinders graphic in it.

    i actually have that sticker

to those of you thinking about really thin lined script lettering, keep in mind that the stickers will need to be bigger to account for how thin the lines are which will cost more. IMO script is played

Why not have the 'V' as two pistons ya know? Set at 15 degrees like they should, I think that would be cool with some block lettering, if I wasn't at work I could draw it up.

And wouldn't look so much like VrSociety, plus most people jsut want script or the 6 cylinders above the 'I'.

The reason I made this is cause its easy to print and can be made in any color. Production would be quick and easy and it would be in the mail a day or 2 after you order (well if Roger can do that haha )

We tried to keep it simple, the script fonts have very thin lines and wouldnt stick very well and would be hard to see. Plus I think its a little played.

EDIT: I tried making it close to the VRSociety sticker without copying it, considering this is a new group, it should have a new design.

The pattern of the cylinders would be like looking underneath the block, but I still dig this actually.

I think it's time to start a new thread just for the design lol

IF?!?!? come on, you KNOW i can do it! i did a 126 piece order in 6 hours. those script designs would need to be about 8-10" long to look okish

    I still say #3

It's easier to produce, easier to see, not as hard to apply. And I agree, the whole script lettering to me is as played as all the families with stick figures on the back of their minivans and SUV's for each person in the family. You know you see em all the time! (At least in NorCal they're everywhere!)

And looking at VRSociety's, the only real similarity between the two is just the VR6 cylinder layout. Other than that they look different to me. Not a play off each other.

    #3 is win!

lold. only thing the same is VR and the cylinder thing. 2/3 thats not good. we dont wanta come off as stealing the design.
just dont do anything ugly and bubbly.
subtile stickers are the best for all.
those of us that like clean cars can run it without it being a eyesore, and the cluster**** kids can just add it to their mess.
i know for a fact cutting the cylinders off is gonna be the first thing i do when i get my sticker.

feel free to cut it off then, but im going to leave it on there for those that want them. if you want them to be subtle then just have yours made in black

Well there ya go! Just take off the cylinder design if you don't want it. To each their own! I personally don't run all the sticker extravaganza on any car I've owned. BUT I do have a club sticker on it if it is tasteful.

If you are saying the actual letters "VR" are the same between the two...well...of course! VR6 kinda has VR in it. The design of the "VR" between the two are quite different.

Ok We are going to go with #3. I think it will be the easiest to produce and it is simple and easy for the owner of the sticker to either have the cylinders in or they can be cut out

So lets now get off decal topic and we can talk club, we can do gtg when the weather turns around, other pages, like websites and FB
