Thanks guys, I only update when I get big things accomplished or bought, this forum is much less active so I don't want to bore anyone haha...So expect updates when I install air, paint, and wheels for now

Love the raspy sound, havent got to the headers yet, tough job, so as of now my headers are just tacked back up the best we could do. Must say you learn way more on these cars then regular vw's but it is fun

im lovin this so far 100 percent but if i may make a suggestion.......PLEASE keep the tailgate spoiler, i always thought that what golf were missing, such a small enhancement makes all the difference.

Yes, it is a floating tank, surprised no one else noticed. I thought it be sweet to try something a little different and since the new accuair tanks don't come with brackets, decided this be a nice way to start

Thanks, but I personally like it without the spoiler, especially with a completely shaved hatch

that's def bad ass. How much extra weight is the airride system. Id like to go airride on mine but I don't have too much space in the trunk with my system so still debating between air or coils. If i go coils im def going with the v3's but as for airride i was looking at the bagyard kt

Weight is def no issue, and can always do a rear seat delete if your worried about space


As for me Iphone pics wont do the paint justice, and I'm hearing bagyards should be in next week

so you repainted a TR cloth r32 to a color that looks identical to matchstick red? lol give you props for all the work, but should have picked a different color. atleast from the pictures you have so far. maybe it looks different in person.

That red is a very different tint from MSR.

Not even close to matchstick, mine is pretty much burgundy
