Thread: Open Road VW in Bridgewater

  1. 11-18-2011 06:51 AM #1
Anyone know the name of the sales guy at Open Road who stayed after the dealer changed over from Millennium? Last time I walked in, seemed like he was the only one who stayed.

    Thanks

I was fortunate the receptionist knew who I was talking about when I called.

Chris Biank is a great guy if anyone every is in the market for a VW. True Dubber with his MKIII GTI. I picked up a GTI from him this past weekend and he was one of the best sales associates I have ever worked with .

Bringing this one back to see if anyone else has recent experience with the service department at Open Road VW of Bridgewater, NJ... new staff there and my recent experience was NOT good The dealer GM is a cool guy but unfortunately he is not at the service desk. I wrote the Service Manager days ago concerning my experience and to date have not received so much as an acknowledgement of my concerns. The former manager always got back to me right away, never had a problem when he was there but if I contacted him I knew he'd get back to me- promptly, and the guy at the desk was awesome, but they are no longer there. I used to get a survey via email right after my service and did not get one this time which I found pretty amusing as my service "advisor" told a couple sitting next to me they would receive a survey and "if all wasn't perfect" they needed to let him know. I obviously was not a happy camper so it was no survey for me I guess I am hoping my experience was an isolated one but if not I'd appreciate hearing other Vortex member's opinions on a recent visit to this dealer. Thanks.

Interesting to see your comments. I have my 30k service next week and was surprised when I heard 2 of the guys left. Hopefully it goes as well as my previous visits.

I hope you have a better experience than I had for sure!!! Still have not had any reply whatsoever from the new service manager. As long as you do not ask for anything outside the realm of what the service writer was programmed for you will be fine, in fact you may even receive a satisfaction survey from the dealer. I was not happy so it was no survey for me. Good luck.
