Mine sits in my trunk for when I need to fill up. Use a 1" stool leg cap to cap off the washer fluid bottle.

I always wondered why people use a funnel. The filler neck is an OEM funnel. Lol

question for those that have painted bits: what paint did you use? obviously the non black bits require black paint, but how about the batt cover and fuse box that are black does just clear coat give it a nice shine? how about this plastic dip everyones raving about? is that gloss or matte?
there are some nice bays in here but no TDIs?!![]()

Mine are color matched BMP, with automotive clear. It holds up just fine on the battery and fuse boxes. On other items that are actually on the engine itself, I have and would recommend powder coat. It'll hold up better to the heat than regular automotive paint. You could also go with high temp paint if you are on a tighter budget.

wow ^^ that is crazy looking!! i never saw the newer 2 liter, mine is the 1.9 and doesn't look as cluttered and packednothing personal but i like the covers keeps it a little cleaner and all my grommets are gone so it just lifts off any way, but hey just personal preference

Anyone running the Integrated Engineering valve cover? I'm looking to switching over from the Eurojet, but they don't have a rear PVC plug or a front bung for a vacuum line. I'm not sure what their solution is for those areas.
#412
They eliminated those and basically you can do a single -10an outlet for a custom breather setup or run a catch can.

I changed my oil with diluted KY Jelly and I really like it. Drove it 3 miles no problem yet. Highly recommend it.
