my assistant liked mine after he saw it, found one for $450 on Backpage with night sights. Met up with the guy and ended up getting it for $350...

Holy cripes...that's a heck of a good deal. Particularly with night sights.

thats what I said, it's in really good shape too...He wanted an XD like mine then I picked up the PPQ and he was sold on that. It came with a few boxes of ammo and some extra mags as well.

    Bump for an old thread...

    http://www.waltherarms.com/products/handguns/ppq-m2/

Heads up to anyone seeking out a PPQ. Walther has launched a new one, called the M2. Information is spotty if the first generations will continue to be sold (I doubt it). The new one has a standard thumb release.

So if you're looking for the HK-style paddle release, buy one soon - piss poor timing I know with the panic buying etc.

^Walther Arms is the new website for the newly US landed Walther factory. Now you can get proper (I hope) customer service from Walther, and not S&W. There is also a hammer-fired cheapo version of the PPQ called the PPX being released. If we weren't panic buying, you could likely find it for $380-425 given its MSRP of $450-500. Looks like an ugly turd, but I'd like to shoot one - see what the constant trigger is like.
