Started on taking care of an oil leak with replacing upper timing chain guide rail and cover.

I didn't expect it to be this bad. It wasn't making much noise and didn't really have the typical VR6 chain noise.

Noticed this on #5 the cam lobe is rounded off.

Ordered ultimate timing chain set from ECS. Didn't find all the parts to the guide rail so tomorrow off comes the oil pan.

Put on my new exhaust because straight pipe was a terrible idea.

Also did the ball joints and installed a raxle axle on the drivers side.

why are you adding the SAI and Evap back on? i chunked mine, it would basically be a pain in the ass to buy all the right size vacuum lines and all that to put it back on again.

Sealed up my massive leak in my air horn line, now I can have it my 152db train horn armed at all times! Already used it in anger again... kid running across the street almost shat himself.

    Because of this Disaster: http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthrea...-help-guidance

I need to get it as close to stock as possible to make sure everything is ok. I'll be installing a catch can on principle (thanks to what I've seen with my MkV) so I'll be able to disregard some of it.

Not 100% sure what I need in the state of MA, but I'll be putting it back together and working from there.
