Summer's here and YOU need a convertible! This gal would be a sweet project car, the bonus here is you can drive it while you restore it...

The good:

This car sounds AWESOME that twincam 4 cycl ferrari bred motor sounds great to my ears
The body is relatively straight.. like I said there are spots where someone could have bumped a dent or three out and saved the bondo for another day didnt..
This car is a great canidate for learning the ropes of body repair.. cheaply!
the top is is good condition. all the glass and door panels are in good condition..
really is a great little car, fun to drive and really turns the heads, you could do nothing at all to this and drive it all summer and make it a winter project..


The paint itself looks shiny and new, very pretty red. there are quire a few spots of bondo pop; as someone went nuts with bondo instead of removing the dent from the panel... good candidate for a professional respray as you could remove the bond, fix the dents and just sand the rest....
The clutch feels looser than it should , clutch it is only 135 shipped from exceedy and its a rear wheel drive car... couple hours and job done.
The rear hood has the holes drilled for a luggage rack.. this could be a good or bad thing..
Needs the interior re-done.. the dash is fine probably 7/10 but the seats are hammered probably 3/10 the foam is fine, but the covers are chewed up. Reproduction seat covers are $200 for both so again cheap to be had..

new clutch would cost you < than $200
new seat covers are $200

Should have brought it up to the All Italian Meet at XXX in Issaquah today. This would have been a good showing for the spider.
There were a lot of exotics out today with the weather getting into the mid 70's.
Some nice looking eye candy strutting around too.
Good luck with sale. If I didn't have two sitting in my garage needing work and the wife just buying a 78 alfa spider i'd be tempted.
