Little update, nothing serious, fixed my headlight switch, ordered a new one for 20.00 and swapped it out, and fixed some wiring that was split. Now my running lights work! No more getting pulled over

Not really a update, got a new part in today Been trying to get my hands on one of these forever now, got it for 20.00 BAMMM!!!

I still need a RT Fender, RT Door, and Hood so let me know if you see any around in good condition.

I ordered a Polly Trans Mount from BFI so ill install that when it gets here

Some more problems with the rabbit, it likes to shut off at lights sometimes, I think I just need to tune it, not a big deal cause im going to swap the engine soon enough anyway

The steering has some play in it, so I need to get under it soon and check it out like 1/3 turn play, its annoying

I saw this on Top gear last night, they where doing a challenge and they where driving through cali in a taxi cab, and theres a nice 84 rabbit gti behind them, heres a picture

man wish i knew that when I received my wheels! I was trying to find a place to get them taken down to bare metal. ended up rattle canning grey over the powdercoat impatience.

I don't mind the look, but god I think it'd look soooo much better with these wheels polished.

OP I wish I could just fast forward to the build being complete. I was REALLLY hoping it would some how be waaay more progressed at the end of this page lol.

Went to UPS and picked up my ecu, Installed it, and let it idle for a minute, I could tell it started better, and the idle was nice and steady, I cant wait to get this on the road, I might put it on steel wheels just to drive it for a week. ha.

New master cylinder came in for the Rabbit Cant wait to install it, and start driving the rabbit again.

The wife and I did some carbon fiber work tonight, covered this Decided to do it because the fabric was falling off, and I tried to glue it back up and it turned out ****ty, I was going to cover it in some new fabric but everyone does that, so I made it carbon fiber, just need put another coat of resin on it, and then clear coat/polish!! Stay tuned to see the finished product, and then I may make the two pieces I made for the rabbit a while back have more 'shine' im still learning as I go on, and getting better and better at laying it.

    now youre talking.
Rabbit looks nice with fenders on it.
the GLI is looking nice too.
I probably should have just gotten it. I got cold feet.
