    SOLD! This car is sold. Keeping it up for people for future reference when they try and sell their cars! AGAIN THE CAR IS GONE!

    Looking to sell my 91 Jetta Coupe. Purchased the car as a shell in the summer of 2008. Spent all summer swapping parts into it. Has a 1.6 liter Diesel engine from a 1981 Rabbit. Recent rebuild. New parts everywhere when installed. Have about 5,000 miles on the car since rebuild in 2008. Car has been a backup car and now I don't need it. Super reliable and amazing on gas. 333K on body. Car has no a/c. Car has no p/s. Has a manual rack, not just deleted p/s.

    Pros:
    5K on engine rebuild
    45-50 mpg
    Scirocco seats
    Nuespeed soft sport springs / Koni shocks
    No rot underneath
    Techtonics Tuning 2.25 inch exhaust

    Cons:
    Brakes are a little squishy. All four do work.
    5th gear is a .071 but syncro is messed so it does grind sometimes.
    Windshield leaks in the upper passenger corner. Can be fixed.

    Super car perfect for daily. Comes with extra diesel trans. Has 90mm flanges so they would have to be swapped for 100mm flanges. Could swap 5th from current trans and would be the perfect trans.

    Here are some pictures from last winter. Has wood grain momo wheel now instead of that one.







    Asking $2300 with momo wheel and extra transmission.
    $2100 with wheel no trans
    $2000 for just car.

    Haha no I got it like that and because it was a A-B car not a show car I never cared. I think that fender and door were resprayed but the guy I got it from didn't really know.
