Spoke with paul on Friday and placed order. Just checked it and it's cancelled with every item (ordered springs, the replacement bolts/washers, and the chrome trim for my fog grills) is marked as 'unavailable'!!!!
2011 VW GTI DSG
GIAC Stage 2, Ultimate Racing DP, Neuspeed P-Flo, DG Springs, RS-3 brake ducts, R20 tails, etc...
The best (and quickest) way to get any info on stock and current orders is to just give Keffer VW's parts department a call. That's what I did and they were able to give me an ETA on backordered parts. Nice guys too.
are the misc. parts that are required to replace when doing the DG springs installation available in stock?
2012 CSG DSG Autobahn Pkg - Current Mod - 35% Tint, OSIR Front low lip spoiler, OEM R LED Taillights. Future Mod - Coilovers or Spring (Not sure yet), APR TBE, APR Stage2 SW, APR Stage 1 & 2 intake.
id still replace all the bolts, but the bearings and mount may still be good, but without looking at your car i cant tell if yours needs to be replaced
i have 4 sets of the 5k3071677a in stock currently
I'm trying to order DG springs today through the site. Two questions.
1) I have a 4-door manual TDI. When I put in the correct PN via the link at the outset of this thread, the part title says 4-door auto. Is this ok?
2) I'm trying to order all of the "normal" parts too. But almost all of these parts have a L/R distinction. Is this distinction meaningful? Or can I just plug in each PN and hit quantity=2? Parts listed below...
N-106-107-02--- quantity required 2--- Bolt(low rear shocks to control arm)
WHT-002-795--- quantity required 2--- Outer axle bolt
N-909-548-02--- quantity required 2--- Pinch bolt(holding strut in knuckle)
N-910-216-01--- quantity required 2--- Nut (for upper strut mount)
6N0-412-249-C--quantity required 2--- Strut Bearings
1K0-412-331-B--quantity required 2--- Strut Bushings
the 5K4-071-677-A are the springs you need, they may say auto because they are the same spring for the 2.5L auto and manual springs,
and just put the quantity as 2 for all those bolts and bearing, and you will be fine, they are for both sides
Do you know why about springs VW 5K4071677 ==> (http: // keffervwparts.com / vwparts/? SearchText=5K4071677B*action=searchAllC atalogs*siteid=216177), it is specified " Not for vehicles equipped with factory lowered sport suspension "
Who changes between a classic model and a GTI ?
And why VW specifies it?
