Hey All. Well I was on my way to work and third gear let loose. I love the car but I dont have the money to get it fixed after just doing a o2a swap with a quaiffe and buying the kinetics bt kit. So Im cutting my losses and paying some bills. Heres the best rundown I can do.

no sunroof,manual mirrors/windows
187,005 miles on the body
inspected until 8/12
fender flares,badgeless grill,tinted tails,foglights,ghetto textured bumpers
beaver dash, blue lit cluster/guages, jvc headunit, wiring for a sub installed,pillar pod with SW boost/watertemp guages
bbs multispoke(not sure what kind)16x7.5 w/ kumho tires that need replaced, stock 14in steelies, a couple extra backup wheels to go with the car
front bumper/fenders out of line due to PO fender bender
could def. use a paint job (roof is bad)
no ac or ps
no significant rust
no leaks

Engine:
1.8t from a 04 GLI
around 50k miles
reflex tuning 1.8t conversion aka mk3 obd1 2.0l management on a 1.8t
42# injector/software, vr6 maf
FMIC(no bumper slats removed, pretty sure the core is a frozenboost/siliconeintakes
timing belt and water pump replaced at around 35k miles when the swap was done by PO.
manual 16v tensioner system used for the timing belt.
plugs, wires, cap, rotor, hall sender, coil, idle stabilizer all replaced about 3k miles ago
slim fans installed running the factory FCM last month
BFI stage 1 mounts all around
3" turbo back to a magnaflow w/ a dummy cat done about 2 yrs ago

Trans:
o2a swap done maybe 10k miles ago
ecstuning vr6 clutch with 14lb flywheel installed when swap was done
quaiffe LSD, arp bolt kit

Suspension:
FK hightech shocks with H&R springs around 1.5" drop
poly rear shock mounts
R32 control arm bushings
rear wheel bearings and mk4 rear brake calipers installed 5k ago
eurosport lower control arm brace
autotech discontinued front stressbar(not the clubsport one)

The car runs great and is a set of IE rods away from being capable of maxing out that 50 trim/injectors safely. Ive kept the boost to 18psi due to the stock block. The rev limiter is set at 7k so the car has never been over reved. Motor has no leaks and never left me sit.The body has a good bit to be desired(dings and dents) but isnt terrible. Ive just come to the point I cant afford a high hp tuner and wanna clear some debt to get a more practical car for my dd. So I figure Id throw it up for sale now. Sadly test drives arent an option due to the trans but I have many ppl who can attest that this car runs great and is pretty quick. I can send the couple pics I have to email. Im probably going to be stealing a bunch of stuff off the jetta for the TT(DV,SAI block off,etc). And I just found out the turbo kit will fit the TT with a different downpipe!

Throw a trans in it and get it running, then sell it for 6500...

Have a proposition for you. I have the cam position sensor that goes in place of the reflex distributor. And I would love to have a spare dizzy. You may find it easier to sell as a non-reflex swap. Just a thought. Send me a pm to discuss.

The cam position sensor goes in place of your reflex dizzy. Would turn it back to a standard 1.8t. The 2 liter ECU is standard and easily sellable to an8v owner too. Chip is only difference in ecu and that is removable.

Dizzy is specific to reflex swap only. I would just have it as a spare if ever needed.

I understand your idea. What Im saying is i wanted to sell the ecu/chip together with the dist. Because if the chip is only compatible with the custom dist. it might be hard to sell. Thats what I wanted to talk to C2 about. if not I might sell the dist itself. And I was selling the motor as is no real need for you to give me a cam sensor id just sell anyway. Its not something that would really make or break a sale for the motor. If you would want both the dist and chip I would sell them but im not ready to break up the reflex kit unless the price was right.

The big turbo kit was sold the car will need a trans and a turbo setup. I have the stock turbo stuff (minus oil/coolant lines) to go with the car. The turbo needs rebuilt though.
