You have a beautiful collection... somedayyy.... I'm so jealous of your Lucy! And that website has some pretty good deals might have to look into that. How did you get the mystic potion?! It's beautiful! Also if you don't mind me asking, how did you let the eggs incubate? Did you leave them with momma or use a system? I've been researching and I'm hoping to do my first clutch next year when I have everyone comfortable in the new apartment and I have the space for it.But wow what a collection!

I finally made something worth looking at for my tree frog.... A TREE!
It's just torched (and washed) PVC pipe and fake plants. I should have set it up out side of the tank for pics, but it's too late now!!

I can't wait for Garrick's open house on Saturday. Something nice is coming home with me!
#41
I picked up a male pastel piebald from Garrick today at his open house.

He hatched in October. Just needs some size now!!!
Keep the argentine pics coming!
#47
Whats funny is she is so tame and curious. No fear either, I think thats why she's tame possibly![]()

So sunny has been a very VERY complicated eater since I got her. It's been exactly 1 month and she only ate twice for me (not including today). This was last week, and I'm noticing now, she's only down to eat live.Hoping to get her on at least prekilled cause live rats makes me very very worried.
Although she's the only snake I have that draws blood when she bites... So I guess maybe she'd do ok if only I were ohkay with it as well.![]()

I prefer p/k too. But a feeding snake is a happy snake! So if they want live, they get live!

A few small updates, dragons are doing great, healthy and active, and growing! Turned out the one I thought was male is a female, and female is a male lol
Bowser is growing like a weed
And I'm making progress on his tank
Slowly but surely lol.
And Lately I've been wanting something else, had a void in meI found this guy, a 4-5 month old White Throat Monitor and saved him, Man, it was sad to see how he was held. This was the tank he was in
![]()
A few weeks ago I let my Plated lizard go to a good friend, Who has been itching for one for a while, It was very hard to do, but She's in good hands and I will see her often
So *unamed monitor* is in this setup for 2-3 weeks, till the savannah tank is done and will be split into two seperate tanks for a few months till they both need a bigger space
![]()
and here is a close upHe's in ok shape, Healthy at least, a bit thin but that will change.
Thats the first time in his life he's had a surface temp of 140+and he's been fed live rodents for "show"
But I'm very happy with him, and can't wait to literally watch him grow in front of me. 5-7 inches a month
I'm hoping He/She will crack 6ft
![]()
lol, Nope.

Yeah they're doing great, I'd like to rebuild the water dragon tank over the next year, and make it bigger and use some different materials![]()
On a Monitor note, I thought my sav was smartwell, he is lol But this White throat, wow. I already have him eating off tongs, frozen pinky rats, crix, superworms and dubias, and he's doing it GENTLY
Basking regularly, and not huffing and puffing at me.
But like all monitors, they have their days. The sav one day can let me touch and pick him up, then the next be grumpy and mean business lol
Monitors are rewarding pets
Today I framed the front panel partially, Have to figure out how to make it all glass, and able to open/close, or remove easily. Suggestions?
And here is bowser, looks a little chubby, but he's lean, Strictly on invertebrates, No rodents for him.

The past few days I've been a bit more forward with the savannah. I guess because seeing how definsive the white throat is, is made me see how far i've come with him. I've been forcing my hand in his face before and after I feed him, well a fist, NEVER offer a single finger, or pointed fingers at a monitor. I've even caught a few nips with my knuckles lol I've picked him up a few inches off his floor, It doesn't last longer then a few seconds.
But I'm making progress! This is the first REAL interaction with him since I've gotten him 5 months ago. I've come a long waySlow and steady. He measured in at 16" today as well
10" in 5 months
On a white throat note, His feeding response is increasing, basking often, and defecating. Humidty is a bit higher then normal, but I want to help him shed easily, as the previous setup did nothing for him. I'd hate to loose a toe or two because of stuck shed
Andddd the water dragons are still great lol The female is bored of crickets, only accepting worms this week lol
lol, Nope.
#54
Sounds like you are making great progress! Good growth too. That's CRAZY![]()
#55
yeah, he's going through a spurt, 17" now
Even the WT will grow 5-7" a MONTH
And a random
lol strange monitor
lol, Nope.
#57
Some good progress coming along, go the ceiling in, front framed, and the FRP panels in. Move in date is end of next week I'm hoping
Its 100% sealed and rot proof now
And the WD's were sooo green yesterday, thought I'd share lol

I missed owning a ball python a while ago so I finally got a corn snake today. Nothing fancy or anything, i'm just glad to get back into the snake thing. Compared to bp's, I love that corn snakes eat f/t so well. ate 2 pinkies back to back with no hesitation
And now, perhaps the grainiest snake picture ever.
Still thinking of a name. Is Nagini too played out?
