Well, this is also my firs time ever driving in an area where it snows lol (from south florida) and ive been trying to avoid driving my car as much as possible, but when do people start getting more active with there cars during the year?

As for your snow question, i break out my play car after the roads are dry... which seems to be whenever this "winter." I'm hoping around end of march this year.

I'm from meadville. Its 25 mins south of Erie. I'm up that way quite often and am down for some gtg meets. I, too, will be going to the mentor, oh meet.

This is open to all types and manufactures of cars, trucks and motorcycles! If it rolls and is street legal then bring it up.

Schedule:

Meet up for locals and early birds: Meet at Dave’s Cosmic Subs around 10:30 am to grab some subs and grub.

From there we will head out around 11:40 am to eat lunch at the beach. If you’re not in the mood for subs there are plenty of fast food restaurants that we will pass on the way to the beach which is only 6 miles away. There is Qdoba, Chipotle, BK, McDonalds, BW3's just to name a few.

And if subs or any of the fast food I mentioned aren't your thing, then feel free to bring a portable grill, german sausage in a can, brauts, chicken or dogs and have a picnic of your own.

Also funny that the only other VW in Meadville has the same wheels as me I work really random times so I travel 322 randomly, usually at sometime in the morning though. Saw your car at Great Lakes on Sunday but didn't even make the connection, it looks great by the way planning on going to sowo by any chance?

yeah I still had the steelies on then. What else is funny is we passed each other again today on 322. I think you were coming up the hill from the exits and I was going down. But yeah, pretty lame of us both that we have the same wheels . and thanks dude. Fersure I absolutely love the golf, TDI FTW for as much as I'm driving lately (~85 miles a day x 5 days ) I've had way too many cars, but of all of them this is definitely the favorite. Can't wait to see if I can make it down to SoWo on a single tank I made it down to the OBX with a little to spare, so it's not impossible...
