Had the pleasure of being in a bunch of three R's this morning, in proximity to Santa Clara University.

I see to my right a twin of my car, Rising Blue 4-door. And I look in my rear view mirror and a Carbon Gray comes up behind me - also a 4-door.

All of us waved to each other, appreciating what a rare car this is and all went our own ways to work...

My daughter in the back of the car was saying, "why are you waving to those guys Daddy ?"

Nice way to start the day.

Yeah I was shocked to see another one around here. Although this summer I've seen a total of 4 other Golf R's in this area. 2 RB and 1 CW in Alexandria Bay and 1 CSG in Clayton.

The 1000 Islands is definitely a beautiful area, especially in the summer. However, after living here the last 3 years, I really miss city living.

If the CW was a 4 Door it may have been me. My friend has an island just outside of Alex bay and I'm there a lot. Don't usually park in town though.

saw a black R on hwy 50 in kenosha, wi just after i left a show in crystal lake, il where i hung out with ATL-ATL and psipassat. i was the white 4dr with black roof heading east while you were heading west. pretty sure you saw me. gave you a wave. there was another black one at the show too.

I work in the area and was wandering around. I had never been down that road before so I thought I'd check it out. Didn't expect to find a R sitting there. If you're in Syracuse, I live not too far from there.

Spotted a rising blue yesterday evening and again this morning on Rt 47 near Rt 55 in Millville/Vineland. You were rocking the blue painters tape number , assuming you were at the NJMP. Hope you had fun. I'm thinking of taking mine out there eventually.
