Spotted a 4 door CSG in Elkhart Lake, WI Friday evening before the concourse d'elegance.
Also saw the CW two door touring Road America today. Das R and I toured our Rs Friday; awesome experience.

Returning home: saw a RB four door heading north on I-94 near Lake Forest, waived but do not think you saw me

I was in Elkhart lake that Friday evening with the R.

I will be at road America this Saturday for the ALMS race as well. Anyone going?

Had my first "dude, I heard about that car. Nice job!" from a pedestrian crossing in front of me. It only took less than a wk for my first gawk (that I saw anyway). I remember when I got my Misano Red TT ALMS edition - I would find peeps walking around it in the pkg lot staring at it.

I saw the following R's at Waterfest:

CW R w/LED Tails @ DaysInn (the one with the hooters attached to it and everybody was partying outside)

Two RB R's headed out of the event on Sunday around 12PM

A CSG 4dr Base with BLACKED out tint

A DBP 2 door with nice but very loud exhaust...

Lots more R's but none of them were memorable

Still waiting to see one on the road. With as much as i drive, I can't believe I have not seen one.

Had a girl driving a blue R pull up one lane over from me at a stop light on University BLVD west of the 417. Not so much as a look from ger. She just sat there chomping on her bubble gum.

I took off like a bat out of hell. She looked to be bone stock. Not even tint on the windows.

Spotted a young blonde woman in a DBP Golf R on campus at Virginia Tech Saturday. My wife and I had helped our son move into his dorm, and we saw the Golf R as we were leaving the parking lot. I slowed down, smiled and pointed and waved, and she was probably wondering WHY THE HECK IS THAT CREEPY OLD GUY WAVING AT ME???? Then I remembered I was in my Odyssey, and not my RB R

Anyways, my first Golf R spotted in the wild.

So far I'm the only one I know about in South Jersey. I know my dealer did sell a Candy White one which the guy at the top of this page might have seen. I did have an older guy in a new Passat tell me to roll my window down at a light and ask me "HEY is that the new R32???" so I had to give him a quick synopsis but he loved it. He said he always wanted one but his wife wouldn't let him get it LOL

There is a CSG R with Jersey plates here on Ft. Irwin, Ca in front of the Ingall's fitness center. I'm here on TDY and it was nice to see the few and the proud.

Yeah, I saw her over a month ago... We both took the Bumby exit on 408 and I stopped next to her at the light. Not a even a look.
