all those pics and not a single one of the engine ? do you have the front seat and rear seats aswell as all the belts ect?

damn, i must've forgotten to upload those (they were in a different folder) i'm uploading them right now and will post them in a few minutes (more photos in the album). As for seats, the car only comes with the driver's seat and no other seats. As for seat belts, the car currently has both front seat belts and i do have the rear set belts (they are just not installed).

^^ well I understand your point and there's nothing that can change your opinion. It is fast for an NA mk2, but with all honesty the most abuse this car has taken was during the video. Although the car was built to be driven hard, anytime i drove it i just drove it normally and shifted around 4.5k and rarely took it to high RPMs because i wanted the car to last.

The idea was that this was my first car i bought with my own money and i wanted to keep it forever for memories. Therefore i took well care of it and didn't abuse it like most people would've done with a car similar to this.

Now, the car just sits there and rarely gets driven and i hate to see it like that. I don't have enough garage space to keep this car inside and so i would rather sell it to a good home than have it sit on the driveway of my In-laws for years.

And of course whoever that's interested in the car can come check the car in person, hear the engine run and decide for themselves.

Well just to give an outsiders view on this car.........I have see the car in person and had the chance to drive it. It looks just like the pictures, and as put forth in the post. That said, it needs a paint job, but the body is solid. There are a alot of extra parts that come with the car. Now, as for the interior, there is only a drivers seat, no passenger front seat and no rear seat. Makes it good for track days and such, but for me was not a good daily driver kinda car. NOW, on to the driving of the car..........ITS FAST, pulls very strong thru all gears and is a blast in that regaurd. It has a good set-up with the 2.0l block, 1.8l head and modded 50mm intake manifold. The power is there from idle to red line no matter what gear you are in. This is the part "I" like most about the car. If this motor were in a car for daily driving, it would be mine by now. Also, IT IS VERY LOUD.......which on the track would be fine, but any drive over 15-20 mins is a bit much. Steering is good, lights work, windows, locks......all good. Just my thoughts on this GTI.........Its a good car to start with and build into what ever you want it to be.

This thread is about selling the car and for the people who are interested IN PURCHASING THE CAR. so all other questions are ONLY welcome via PM.

Whoever that was interested in the car that asked me about this was sent a PM describing how the car is smog exempt.

Now if you think it sounds fishy or what not it is your opinion. If you know the laws about the smog check in CA and were truly interested in knowing how this car is exempted from smog check you could've PMed me about it rather than bashing me here in public.

Pretty childish thing to do if you ask me...

This is the perfect example of a WELL BALANCED car, The Power, the gears, the suspension and the breaks are all perfectly balanced with each other and nothing is too much or too little (i.e not enough braking for the power, etc...)

This car is a BLAST to drive and it handles like a go cart. I definetely enjoy driving this (even at normal cruising speeds) more than i like driving my 07 BMW. it's just a different feel !!

Actually now it's better than ever because it's SMOG EXEMPT !

and that 50mm mani and the 4-2-1 headers makes a HUGE difference !

Thank you guys. Honestly i don't want to sell it (maybe that's why i haven't too hard on selling it) but it has to go. Its sad to see the car go, but it's sadder to see it sit there and not get driven.
