Only two Latigo CS models were ever made -- a prototype based on a 645i and one customer car based on an M6.

Don't care much for the front end but I do like the rear (despite the fact that the taillight lenses are ever-so-slightly not aligned properly).

I want one.
*EDIT* Just read it may go to the Silicon Valley Fisker which if I'm not mistaken is right next to the McLaren dealer about 2 miles from my house. Will do what I can to get some pics.
Also I like that guys taste in cars.
I did recently see this though. Apparently also 1 of 1.

I would of thought the interior could be changed more, although the optional stripe in the seats is not what I meant.

Fisker Tramonto
I remember seeing both of these in the same year.
The Tramonto was really well styled IMO

I remember seeing a silver one for sale in Jersey not too long ago.

And... it's one of those cars you just have to see up close and in person to appreciate it. Everyone has their own opinion about style, more power to ya.
Obviously, if you like Fisker designs, it might work for you. If you don't... not so much. Henrik uses a lot of the same style elements, and some on the Latigo look like those you have seen some on his other works, like the BMW Z8 (tail lights), Aston V8 Vantage (hood), and the Karma (front brake ducts)

Rice?
Its a great looking car, just not they best pictures of it.

In the 20s and 30s, this would have been considered a coachbuilt car and become quite valuable. Only on the internet is it considered rice. Why? Because the internet can be accessed by anyone with a basic computer and an opinion regardless of whether or not they know what they are talking about.
I love cars, but the problem is they are like schroedinger's hobby. They're always in a quantum superstate of being both awesome and a huge waste of time and money... until observation momentarily forces them into one state or another.

Most coachbuilt had way more that differences them from the original car than this. This is more similar to the S class-based Monteverdi Tiara class and the likes which are hardly quite valuable cars today. It can't be compared to the proper and today valuable coachbuilt cars of yore.
Btw: I've also noticed how you imminently dismiss any opinions besides your own (see also the corvette c7 tread where you attacked). Not very polite. That you don't like this car don't necessarily means that you don't know what you are talking about.

While I respect your opinion and everyone else's here, my view is a tad different, so I will respectfully disagree. The coachbuilders of yesteryear did not have to contend with crash testing cars, safety regulations, etc. So today's coachbuilder is limited in what it can do...bumpers and lights must stay in exact position, pillars and structure can't be changed. In the past, I could mount a porcelain bathtub on a chassis and it could be sold as a roadgoing vehicle. So, today it is harder to coachbuild away from underlying structure. That said, I also disagree that the Latigo isn't far from the M6. Compared to the Mercedes you mentioned (which kept doors and roof the same), Fisker has replaced every body panel. Look at the two photos below comparing the M6 and Latigo. While the changes may be subtle, every design element was thought out. Note how the crease down the side is lifted up on the Latigo, running straight through the door handle line and extending farther back, all the way to the rear lights. Note how the trunk looks elongated and softer, and how the rear lower panels are smooth and integrate the bumper with no bumper sticking out. See the lower rocker panel that does not turn upward, creating a straighter looking car. Note that the hood creases gives a sharper angle to the front and makes the car more pointy and less snub-nosed. It all comes together to make the car look sleeker (IMO), more elegant, and according to many auto journalists, slightly more Italian looking. Fisker never was trying to make a "better" BMW, they just used the excellent underlying M6 architecture to build their own coupe. Its not supposed to be better or worse, just different, and an interpretation of the designer's own style. Also -- unlike some coachbuilders of the past, the entire engine has been rebuilt on the Latigo. And finally, look at the last photo below of the 2012 BMW M6 and try to tell me that you DON'T see a few of those Fisker Latigo design cues now being used on the M6 (rocker panels, crease, pointier hood, etc).
You may have missed this due to my inherent subtlety and lack of vitriolic response to people bashing my car, but to be more clear - its my car collection and my garage. Look to the left now in my profile/sig. I also post as Dave_Car_Guy on Datsun, Porsche, Ferrari, Aston, and BMW forums.

Few people understand the psychology of dealing with a highway traffic cop. A normal speeder will panic and immediately pull over to the side. This is wrong. It arouses contempt in the cop heart. Make the bastard chase you. He will follow.

Dave, are you still a director at Fisker?
There's another (former) Fisker guy here in TCL.

It's hard to make a car that doesn't look better than the 6-series.

That look like one of the TCLers car collection. So first a guy with a F40 now a guy with some really rare cars. Hey maybe if I hang around here enough it'll rub off on me![]()

I saw it parked out on a street in Culver City 1-2 yrs ago. I knew what it was but didn't know it was that rare.
