If I were coaching this team I would tell this team to feed the ball to Bynum on every single possession. If this offense runs through him the Lakers can be a dangerous team.

And I have a feeling the fans will be getting a lot of tacos this season.

Hopefully the Lakers Portland woes don't continue. And hopefully Bynum continues to dominate like he has since coming back from his suspension.

      Oh god.

I didn't see the game because I was out at dinner with the girlfriend and then drinks with our friends but I'll have to fire up the DVR in the morning.

      curse the rose garden

8 games in 12 days + fast, athletic team = no bueno. with the age of this team plus the pace of the schedule this may spell doom for the lakers this season.

Laker's still winless on the road. With this short season and with 5 games a week type of schedule is not favoring the Lakers at all.

Lakers probably going to be a 5 or 6 seed team in the West.

That's what this schedule does to older teams.

I wonder if down the road Mike Brown starts Blake over Fisher.

A back to back after chasing Steve Nash and the Suns around for 48 minutes is going to be tough; especially with McRoberts being out. Hopefully Kapono and Murphy are back though otherwise that bench is going to be thin once again.

Nice minutes from Luke Walton though. Even though I was secretly hoping for him to retire over the offseason it was nice seeing him out on the floor and performing well.

yeah. That was crazy. The bench stretched the lead only to have Fisher give it back making it a close game up until Kobe went nuts.

Glad they got that first one out of the way.

I don't like Staples Center as the Clippers home court. With so many Griffin and Paul shirts it just seems like a bunch of band wagon fans. I did see a few Darius Miles and Quinton Richardson jerseys though. And an Odom and Barry jersey as well.

I guess the Clippers do some thing where you can nominate an "MVP" of the game which is just any season ticket holder and the dude that won last night has had season tickets since '89. Now that is a real Clippers fan.

And of course Clipper Darrel was there.

yup l.a. is the land of the bandwagon jumpers. it even annoys me when some of my friends who dont normally watch basketball, instantly become "diehard" laker fans come playoff time even worse are some of the comments they make during the game.

btw, im jealous that you were at the game last night. i have yet to see LeBitch play in real life

I think I've seen Queen James play three times: once with the Cavs and twice with the Heat. All three games against the Clippers.

That was a good read. Thanks.

And in keeping with the injury theme... what do you guys think it would take for Kobe to sit out significant time?
