It was supposed to be raining all weekend so rather than just moving the couch in tonight we ended up EVERYTHING. I am exhausted, didn't get to see Sessions, or get any new beer.

    But come Sunday... it's on!

But 7 points, 5 assists, and 4 rebounds in less than 20 minutes is a nice debut from Sessions.

Heck yeah he had a nice 1st game considering he got there less than 2 hours before tipoff.

just read a few places that Houston might buyout Fisher's contract so he will not play a game for the Rockets

    tough way to go out

Laker fans don't get your hopes up about Fisher resigning with y'all this year. He was released by Houston but because of league rules he can't rejoin the Lakers this season.

  5. 03-18-2012 11:31 PM #215
why would the Lakers trade him if they did not want him gone?

Houston wanted the draft pick and the Lakers told them to do their dirty work and do something with Fisher

If anything - I could see Derrick winding up at OKC just for a shot at revenge. But in all honesty he should hang it up.

Great season but he just can't keep up like he used to

Wow...sessions is fast. I can't even remember when the Lakers were able to get up the court this fast. He reminds me if the skinny, fast guy from the original NES hockey game; a blur on the court but gets bounced all over the place when hit by contact.

Why is Sessions not starting? I don't care if he's only had one practice with the team!

thats funny, i was just telling my buddy that i noticed the lakers have been lobbing it up a lot this season. especially the gasol-to-bynum variety which is almost unstoppable.

Maybe Jordan Hill gets some burn tonight against his former team. But probably not.

I honestly feel like Sessions should be getting the start even with his lack of practice time with the team.

Isn't Sessions able to opt out after this season? Does anyone think that if Mike Brown doesn't start Sessions at all this year that Sessions takes that as some sort of insult and opts out? He clearly has a better feel for the game on the offensive end than Blake.

some of the things that came out of his mouth last night were but had me

it probably wouldn't have been so bad if he'd taken the shot while still up 16 instead of letting the lead dwindle to 6 at the time.

  14. 04-04-2012 03:26 PM #224
I can't wait for playoffs so the Lakers can implode again. Bynum is the least happy person in the NBA. He won't even meet Mitch for scheduled meetings. He's not running the offense and he's distancing himself from teammates. I absolutely love it!

Kobe is old and the more he jacks shots, the worse the Lakers do.

Y'all may have a 1st round exit headed your way. If not 1st, definitely a 2nd round exit.

I was out at Islands last night getting my free burger and I was shocked at the number of people cheering for the Clippers (I still can't call them fans).

Kobe was assassin mode last night, though.

Nice! Kobe is confirmed out for tonight though. I think if the Lakers would have lost that game in San Antonio Kobe would be playing tonight but after that win Mike Brown thinks they can buy another few days of rest for the Kobester.

Yeah, this thread has been slow this season. I think it's because Caster hasn't been around.

    Yeah... that's rough.

And Bynum is out there. Closeout games are easy? Hmm...

I feel bad for Rose not the Bulls.

Personally they should amnesty Boozer and just let the cards fall where they may. Then they have a couple of options. Hope to hell they score a great lottery position (think Spurs when Robinson went down and they picked Duncan in the draft) or they make a move for Howard. Or both.

Rose going down just exploited how much he carries the team.

Rose needs real help. The bench mob will not get it done

I'm so sick of hearing people say that Bynum blew the game with comments. Sure, what he said was dumb but it didn't cost the game. They lost because By um and Gasoline had defenders in their lap because no one was hitting outside jumpers. Barnes shot the ball like crap. Blake did as well.

some players just arent as driven after they win their first ring, and pau already has 2. plus im sure he wasnt happy about almost being traded this year. hes also got some mileage on his legs already, so its not surprising that his level of play has gone down a tiny bit....it also doesnt help when youre playing on a team with a ballhog like kobe
