Seriously though, this is a great car for a decent price. Chad and our mutual friend Hal have spent considerable effort to getting things put together on the car and it does make an excellent basis for someone who wants to do a restoration/modification route on the car.

1978 is considered by most to be one of the best years for Sciroccos; much of the early teething issues were worked out by then and there is a slight weight advantage to these cars as compared to the earlier counterparts.

I'll help, I just really need to down size. It's not the time with this one, it's the money and space. It'd be cool for it to stay local, and I certainly have the parts and connections to see it done right.

But the base color, is Mars Red, which makes this car possibly the last Mars Red 78 in existence. It was a VERY rare combination. Desireable for restoration.
