I'm fine with FAAB...it'll be something new to me.
But we have 14 people, and the last thing I want is for people to be surprised by unfamiliar rules and punk out and go zombie one month into the season.

Dang, 14 teams. We won't have stacked teams this season.

okay guys... couple things i want to get settled...

conferences, obviously yahoo randomly placed you into a conference once you signed up. I can leave as is or as i've been trying to, put you guys into conferences based on your favorite teams/location.

1. A.Yes leave conferences as is or B. No, change based on team/location

now that i've got 14teams locked and loaded i can set a date that I will click a couple of buttons and we can have yahoo generate a random draft order for us so we know what our draft positions are so you all can start mock drafting. OR, leave as is and you find out what your position is on draft night.

2. A. Leave as is and find out draft order the night of the draft or B. set random order on a set dat before the draft

FAAB waivers.. this is a vortex league and a lot of things get posted in the thread for this league on the site. the latest and greatest is the option for FAAB waivers. the details are in the thread. read em, come back here and vote.

3 A. Leave waivers as normal or B. use the new FAAB system

Last but not least, it seems like everyone can make the draft except for dorifto who wont know until the week before.. am i right? I don't want any autodrafters and with a 14 team league, the draft is going to be important.

so reply back with your vote (for example 1A, 2B, 3A) and draft availability status.

majority:

1. dont care about conferences, so i'll most likely leave as is...

2. want to know draft order, so i'll most likely set that up soon...

3. would like to try the FAAB system for waivers

anyone else would like to vote, speak now or forever hold your peace.

i replied to your email, but i'll post my answers here too.

1A - I'm already in the correct conference according to the team I follow (lakers)

2B - knowing the draft position ahead of time would be nice to allow for preparation

3 - I'm good either way since.

Forgot to add that I am available for a 12/19 draft.

*Fine* with FAAB system... though, as a newb... I hope I won't get made fun off too much for the bids, that I do or do not make.

so i'm going to leave where yahoo put you...
changed the conference names for now.... one in honor of B.Roy.. the other, tis the season...

i setup the FAAB. everyone gets 100 bucks. think thats standard. i have no idea. someone chime in

draft order... i will have yahoo generate a random draft soon... maybe tonight if the kids sleep early... stay tuned.

i think i'm going to generate the random draft order today when I return from my lunch at 2pm
Eastern time....

a yahoo generated message will appear on the league board that a random order was generated.

to see the order click on draft central and then draft results around 2pm ...
