That is an amazing cast... but can Gina Carrano act? I love her IRL, but I'm worried she doesn't have the acting chops. Everything else about her is perfect for the role, but she seemed really flat in those scenes whenever she had to talk.

    Nevertheless i'll totally see this.

Yes I was surprised at the supporting cast given she's never done anything major before, but i guess the casting director would not have chosen her if she did not do the part justice, especially with an all-star cast like that.

I love Gina, this movie is going to make me want her even more.

For such a top notch cast, I must say that trailer looks incredibly tacky. Unless it gets good reviews, I'm saving my viewing for when it's on cable...

I'd let her put me in a leg lock. She is far too gorgeous to be in fighting. When I heard Soderberg wrote this movie with her in mind, I was excited. Trailer is finally here and I am even more psyched. Looks like a fun ride!

What is it with this recent string of tough spy chick movies lately? Salt, Columbiana, Hannah, and now this. None of them have really burned up the box office yet, so I doubt that they're trying to play off of anyone else's previous success.

Going to have to agree... that may be one of the worst cut trailers I've ever seen for what ought to be a badass movie.

I'd say that the style of this movie is like The American with more action. Definitely not the run of the mill action movie. Fight scenes are brutal, very brutal. I liked it

I ended up losing interest about 3/4 of the way through and turned it off.

Agreed. Only redeeming parts were the hot Italian chick being nekkid. That was an awful film.

I loved Haywire. I liked the vibe of it, how stone cold badass she is. The scene where she's running after the guy, she looks like a damn Terminator. I've had a mad crush on Gina for years so I was pleased to get two hours with her To each their own

Don't blame ya. While she may not have the strongest of acting skills I thought she had a good screen presence and the cameras seem to like her. Get her some acting lessons and I think she'd be great replacement for the aging Jovavich and Jolie.

What I think hurt this movie the most was a very poor musical score. The music selected did nothing to help emphasize any scene in the movie. I felt like it was an old 70's porn soundtrack added to the movie at the last second. I think it would have done much better in the box office with some better music.

    I thought so too.

The music was definitely a left-field choice. It's not exactly something I'd be blasting in my car, but it was different, and I appreciated the vibe it gave the film.
