WOW, I really like how you did the interior trim pieces! I've been look for something similar but don't want to drop 300+ for the part. Where did you get them dyed, around how much $ if you don't mind me asking?

Do you mind taking some more pics in better lighting, so I can see how the H&R springs look?![]()

I had a guy i know from a local interior shop do it. I took all the pieces out and he sprayed them for 40 bucks on the side. you could try bringing them somewhere local to you, i dont think it would be too expensive ( way less than 300) and that stock texture looks really good silver. i like it better than the sel pieces myself.

Did you have someone spray your lights to tint them? I'm in VA as well and if that shop in the pic is local to the DMV area I'd like to go that route, i have reservations about just putting window tint on them.

DC, Maryland, Virginia.. What did they use to spray? I spose I could get a shop up here to take on the project.

i thought so too. I ordered the piece that goes in the left rear door and installed it in the front door. If you open the door you'll see a black rubber piece on the inside where the handle is. pull that off and there is two T20 screws. one comes all the way out and the other is a set screw just turn it until in stops, then you can pull the whole lock cylinder out. then you'll have to drill a hole in the new one for the set screw. i just put it in and held it tight while turned the set screw in and out to make a mark where i needed to drill. make the hole a tiny bit smaller so it will thread in the plastic. the piece is about twenty dollars from vw and then you would have to get it painted i can get the part number tomorrow if you want.

i just met up with a guy i know that designs race parts for corvettes today to see if he could design me an intake for my car. he said he would take on the project. All we did was take some measurements today but i've got my fingers crossed that he can come up with something awesome. im gonna get a hold of an extra power steering reservoir this week so he can start fabricating a relocation bracket. It'll probably take a few weeks to get it finished but ill put up some pictures when its done.
