Just a suggestion to anyone else thinking of painting their car with $1100/gallon paint... Spend $1000, and save the $100 for a digital camera. It will help with convincing us on your investment.

Unlike you i rather spend my money on more important things then buying a camera that will just sit around doing nothing for me. But thanks for the bump

The car is in storage waiting for better weather before i pull it back out. And when that time comes ill get some better pics like i told everybody else. If i dont have to work next weekend ill have better pics.

I can put a stock 16v in the car if someone wants it a little cheaper. That would be a stock 2.0 16v no ITBS, 034, OR other mods that go along with that.

If i do that the engine will be forsale
complete long block 2000( I have more then that in parts, let alone the engine work)
ITBS 1000 twm 45mm
034efi with all fueling 2500. Thats with injectors, fpr, fuel lines, etc besides the fuel rail.

Car i wanted sold, so not in a rush to sell it like before. Also dont think i will part it out just yet unless someone really wants to buy most of the big ticket items. like the engine and trans. and the 034 efi.

I cant agree more. It has been over 5 months since this was started. I keep seeing the "I will post better pics soon" but I am not seeing better pics Even when I got the pics via email it looks exactly like the ones on here...

Its kinda of hard to make time to get pics when you are working 7 12s and have a family that needs attention. And then if i am not doing that because of a rain day i am toying with my buddies rocco. I know i have been saying i will get pics which i plan on it as soon as i get to it. Right now it is not a number one priority on my list right now. Sorry guys just hang in there with me pics will be updated when i get around to it.

Several people have commented on your paint. It is not a debate on the cost of a gallon of paint, folks are curious to see if you're BS'ing, which is completely legitimate. Being evasive or hostile makes things worse.

Post up the paint code and where you got it. If the paint was in fact that expensive, that'd mean you're for real, but it also would mean you spent $1100, for a gallon of blue paint, for a VW .

If in fact the paint wasn't $1100 per gallon, and you took some poetic license ,that's OK, these things happen, just come clean on it.

This is exactly why i do not try to sell cars on this forum, you end up with children insulting your intelligence and in the end you don't really wanna sell a car you put years of blood and sweat into only to have some kid destroy it and make it look cool in his eyes!
