So that Cooper S i used to own, nfi how hes managed it but the engines kind of f*cked apparently, big end bearings at least on their way out, still drivable apparently but not for much longer I assume. And since I sold it to my cousin and his depth of knowledge on cars extends to 3/10ths of f*ck all I thought i'd have a look about at his options, cause I'm a top bloke and all that, I sold it to him on the cheap so even if up to roughly 5k to repair i reckon he'd be down with it (but not the 14k BMW offered to replace the engine for lol), or its pissing it off cheap to someone very keen, wrecking etc.

So, question is since i dont trawl the online mini communities no more but know a few lurkers here do, so anyone know of anyone who's also f*cked their engine in some fashion and have someone they'd recommend to get the thing rebuilt? Assuming it can be but im figuring it can, just off the top of my head i was thinking Peak might be able to do it, but just putting it out there to see if i get a useful reply or a belly laugh from an amusing intertube discovery.
