I'm going to be getting some boots in the next week or so and came across this pic.

Any idea what brand they may be or maybe something similar?

Thanks guys, those timeberlands are pretty nice! Another option now.

I think I found the closest thing for now by Sperry.

It looks like the Sebago fairhaven boot. I just ordered a pair in dark brown

    sorry to hijack this thread.

im heading to NYC in feb and incase of rain/snow i wanted to get some water proof boots. i saw this ad on GQ and picked up a pair of those sorels. im from cali so i dont own a signle pair of boots and they just look funny to me.

will i look like a complete fool walking around in these in NYC?

i also got sperry's from nordstrom (except in black) incase its just cold and not raining/snowing.

what are the thoughts on the sorel's?

Red Wing Iron Rangers (style 8111). Can't recommend them highly enough. A lot of guys really like the LLBean Katahdin boot from Chippewa.

    Cheers!

I was going to start a new thread, but saw this on the first page. I'm looking for boots too, but work boots. Must have a square heel, protective toe cop, and sturdy leather construction (no canvas or nylon). Any suggestions for something i can wear all day in all weather without killing my feet?

There is a lot to say about what boots people wear. There are so many theories on boots – what is appropriate for riding, what is good for dancing, and what can work for both.

As far as work boots/steeltoes, I wear Timberland Pro 6" boots.
I like them, but I think I'm gonna grab a pair of Redwing 2296 next time I need some.

I recently bought a pair or oak street camp boots, solid footwear, great company. Vibram sole is a great comfort touch.
