    Bilstein shocks
    Accuair E-level w/touchpad

Should be installed in about 2 weeks.
airlift fronts are perfect but you should really do d-cups with ss-5's or air house II's in the rear. I had airlift rears and they were terrible. they rub a lot and make creaking noise.

Hey White Pepper. I have to disagree on that one. It serves a purpose. All the other items dont serve any purpose, so I shave them.

I suppose the argument might be that there are other ways to tow it or pull it out of a ditch, etc.

Just my opinion. I have considered shaving it before. This my 3rd bumper shave, but always pass.

I agree with pepper 100%. I was also planning to shave my ed35 bumper. seems pointless to shave everything else and leave the tow hook. bumper comes off in 5 minutes if you ever need a tow.

Yes, because we all happen to have tools at hand at all times to take the bumper off if we need a tow...

It looks good to have it shaved, everyone would agree with that but I had to take the bumper off my MKIV twice for a tow and while its certainly doable, it was still a PITA.

You don't have to like it

Speaking of bumpers, the last time I took the bumper off, it did not go back on as tight. The gap has gotten pretty big. Mine has probably been off about 10x so far and I am guessing the little clips stretched with all that. I did not sweat it since I knew the 35ed was going on shortly.

Any tips on preventing this? Is it the plastic stretching or that plastic clip/rail needs replacing?

Still working on 35edition front bumper. Paint shop could not get my bumper to sit right. The guides have been stretched too much from too much on/off. So ordered new ones from VW. 120.00 bucks!

I dont see it, but thats a rumor out there. They say this EuroTreffen is his replacement. Same promoter. I guess he had a business called Fixx Auto that he sold.

Finally last piece for 35ed front comes in.

    5K0 807 110 B 041 Gloss black lip spoiler.

Dropped the car off at paint shop to get everything installed.

OEM 35th anniversary edition front conversion project all done. Happy with how it turned out. Gives the front a nice OEM look, but with a nice flare. I decided to colormatch the lower spoiler instead of the gloss black. I have a 2nd lower spoiler which is gloss black coming from ECS, so I will leave that black and see how it looks at some point.

I think I am done messing with the front.

At the same time, I did the GTI grille stripes in satin black instead of the red.

Also flat blacked my TwinCooler, so it does not distract from the front.

Also removed the GTI emblems on the front and rear.

Also got the 35/R side skirts installed.
