My airride build is takin shape. Got the layout pretty well figured out. Did a dry run, to make sure it all fits.


Have a call in to AccuAir on the VU4 orientation. If I run the way I want to, the logo would be facing wrong direction. Hoping I can get something worked out with them. May have to just paint it black.

Here are some shots from my 35ed experiment Still trying to resolve missing parts too. My guess is that the piece called Spoiler is actually two pieces. It reminds me of the OEM Euro Lower Lip Kit. When you order that, you get two pieces. The first is the rough black plastic that fill the void from the bumper to the engine. It also acts as a mounting piece for the actual lip. The lip part is the decorative piece( usually color matched).

The OEM lower lip kit I got from KefferVW ships with 3 basic parts:

Adapter (5K0 805 915)
Spoiler (5K0 807 110A)
Halter (5K0 805 915 9B9).

In the 35ed, so far we are getting two pieces.

Spoiler (5K0 805 903G 9B9)
Bumper Cover (5K0 807 217C LGRU)







When you assemble these two together, you get this.




So clearly, it is not a finished look. Tabs are visible, there is no smooth finishing element. In the pics I have seen of 35 Edition cars, it usually gloss black across the lower front piece.


Halvie has found at least two parts needed
(5K0807611/5K0807612) he references closing elements. I asked Christian at BKS about those and he said the are needed, but called them Mounting items. Probably just his description.

I am guessing we still need at least one more part #. There must be a long piece that goes the length of the front and should be finished/smooth.

nope haven't even received the parts yet. you are indeed missing the actual spoiler piece....I wish I had the list of PNs.

well Halvie got me the invoice from a dude in Germany that a conversion done at dealership. costs like 4k and has a sh*t ton of parts on it.

Got the black Golf R Xenon headlights on tonight. They look great. Will post pics soon. But I bet most people that arent familiar with MK6 will not even notice them. I like the look alot though.

Yes, you take off your ballasts and your xenon bulb from your old ones. They come with the other bulbs, but the Xenon.

Finished ordering my parts today from BagRiders. Reversed coarse and decided to go with Airlift Slams. May try something different later, but for my first airride setup this just made the most sense to me.

Bilstein shocks
Accuair E-level w/touchpad

Should be installed in about 2 -3 weeks.
