    yeahhh. im going to polish the lips, etc, so ill have some time before i really worry about the tires. they'll make a nice coffee table for now

    have some material to make a heat shield, ill get around to that eventually.

    wheels are supposed to be here tuesday. going to paint the centers and bolts on them, then hopefully get the tires on within the next few weeks.

    I ran into Fendermender at a local gtg a few weeks ago and he shared how he relocated his power steering to the other side, near the washer res. so hopefully ill be able to get around to that soon.

    Awesome! Can't wait to see that done! Too bad there aren't any mk6 gtg's around here where I am. I need to hit up some meets some time elsewhere.

    haha the dc, maryland, va area seems to have a ton of modded mkvi jettas.

    even saw a middle aged woman driving one with almost every factory accessory you can buy for the d*** thing and she waved at me. hahah

    Nova seems to be the hotspot for mkvi jettas. I wish there were more in Richmond but at least it's a relatively short drive for me to nova.

    yea, no joke. are the roads really as bad as everyone makes them out to be, in richmond? haha thought about taking a trip to see some friends there but ive heard them compared to dc and that worries me

    I'm actually about 10 mins south of the city in chesterfield county... All the roads around me are pretty nice. As far as the city goes some parts are pretty f'ed up but you could probably find a route that wouldn't tear up your car.

    too be honest, i don't have a clue. they were only advertise by 'lm reps' by the vortex user, and the price was pretty cheap (really cheap) so i snagged them. i couldn't find any markings on the inside other then size and et
