It's on my DVR list. But this has quickly gone from my favorite show on TV to one that I don't care if I watch the new episodes until they start backing up on my DVR.

Anyone still watching regularly? The thread for season 6 died off earlier in the year and I never saw a season 7 thread go up.

As much as I love this show, they really need to just get to the point. We can see who the mother is and then drag out that story line for a season if need be. Wrap it up!

I am still watching every episode. Not sure how much longer they can drag it out though.

Don't miss an episode.
I love all cars, I just happen to own a few pieces of german crap at the moment.

I agree; love the show, but want to see it properly end. I got really excited when the baker chick showed up again (really liked her; I think I read that the first season she was going to be the mother if the show didn't get renewed?), but then her story came to an end.

She was a contingency mother, something where they could easily say "And that kids is how I met your mother" at the end of the episode and wrap things up. Robin was another, and so was the blonde chick from scrubs.
But after her season they were picked up for two more. Which meant that Ted didn't need to be in a long term relationship incase they were cancelled.
The gf and I watch every episode. Next season will be the last according the the creators.

Was there an episode last Monday?

Not bad, kind of a filler but this website ties into the episode.

My comments are in white below, so if you haven't watched yet don't read.
Anyone else kind of annoyed the way Sandy Rivers is being written back in? It's probably my only real complaint about the show this season.

Good episode this week. They never explained why the hats are all wet.

LOL, yeah I just noticed it when reading the credits. ANd it was in an episode that FRED was in too![]()

To no one's surprise (I think?) they revealed that Barney was getting married to Robin in the season finale.
The woman that played Quinn (Becki Newton) is getting her own TV show on Fox next year.

So what did people think of the season finally? Personally, I thought it was pretty lame (I am a big fan of the show). Victoria back for a 3rd time? Robin is the "bride", but somehow it seems like they could still spin it some other way. Also, basically only five minutes in the overall story have passed since last season's finally! They are just dragging this out and have run out of good ideas to keep the story going imo.

I'm ok with what's going on...i don't think it's really being 'dragged out' - we all know next year is the last. Should be fun to see if Barney actually goes through with it.

I could do without Victoria.. she doesn't bring anything to the show and her character isn't funny whatsoever.

She's easy on the eyes, so I don't care.

I thought the two part finale was pretty good. Funny.. I laughed a bunch of times. ...and I dont mind the return of Victoria. Plus they had one huge reveal...
Robin will be marrying Barney... That's huge.

x2... I thought she was really sweet and lovely. Realistic kinda gal that I could easily see you ending up with
Haven't really been able to watch this past season, other than a few bits here and there (WTF Kumar). Hopefully it'll be on Netflix soonish now that it's wrapped.
I am not surprised in the least it was Robin and Barney tying the knot... they've been referred to as Aunt Robin and Uncle Barney since episode 1, and while that isn't a guarantee they aren't married to other people, it just seemed a no-brainer to me that they were.

Kumar was alright, but he didn't add much, if anything, to the show.
