    I just got the scirocco running last night. Got a couple months to get everything tidied up.


    What are you guys doing other than paying off credit cards?

    Oh, and i actually spent money on my own parts for this up coming season. changing my turbo and changing my oil is about all im doing to the car at this point... windshield damage is already fixed

    rebuild trans and lugtronic, mabey cut out some more weight, hoping to make some passes for the first time in a while

    yet another trans, front end work, p/s delete, metal frt crossmember bushings, lugtronic update, blah, blah blah.
    I want just one winter where i wash the car, drive it in the garage, put its cover on and forget it
    and of course this is all $$$ dependent

    building a whole new mk2 vrt drag car becouse my mk3 is a rot box . cams,lugtonic,ap tuning gear stack. the whole 9 yards........i need to give 2tone turbo a spankin.

    Rebuild the trans, Hx40 with BEP housing, 700 lb\in rear springs,traction bars,water meth, more boost,much more timing and a set of 25x9x13 M&H's!

    finishing up my fsi build. Ran 11.6s last year on stock engine and trans.

    wrapping up my full build currently. wossner 9.2:1 pistons, supertech built head, IE rods, balance shaft deletion, Fluidampr, 6 point NHRA cage, new gasket kit.

    working on getting some new software as well.

    Kev, as for my gut, after the new turbo (S400SX 67mm billet) you may or may not need to push the "+" button once in awhile for the upper range

    but, over on this coast, we doubled the core size on the AWIC, >double the pump ability, changed the intake manifold, increased the turbo (82lb/min before now 94lb/min), and gonna finally get the Lugnuts-tuned dog-box in the car. we ARE SHOOTING for some real numbers finally, if i can drive this thing worth a sh!t. the driver is the weak link, here.
