Sadly I havent touched my car sense Pacific Waterland last year. I've been too busy preparing for my latest addition...

Hint, heres what I spent all afternoon building:

a future drag racer is on her way!

In car related stuff, I've been collecting all the stuff to do an 02a swap. got a 4.24 r&p, going with a kaaz diff. finally found springs to run my crazy CAT cams 299/298's, but probably wont have time to get the new head all built before next year.

Also i aquired a large amount of high density foam used for sculpting... so, I may decide to build some wide fenders, or something...

Hopefully after I get this Rally car in my garage finished in the next few weeks, I'll be able to get my race car back in the garage and getting it race ready for this summer.

We overcame some crank sensor voltage issues in the Haltech just to get it running smoothly. However, once we were on the dyno, we rediscovered the issue at higher rpms. Haltech expects you to use an oscilloscope on the sensor to get your voltage at each RPM range. I've got my boy gathering more info.

We were loosing crank signal around 5500. Go too high with the voltage, and it would get really choppy, too low, and it would fall off completely. Not something for guessing and testing it seems.

The motor sounded pretty healthy though. Made good torque even without any timing in it yet.

Hoping to be regrouped and strapped down again in the next week or so. Tired of this ****.

Fuel is laid out below 5k though, and i picked up tags yesterday, so i'm whipping the thing this weekend regardless.
