Finish the winch install on the RZR then lock the door on the garage and not go back until april at which point ill fire things up and have 8 months of motorsports fun nearly every weekend for nothing more then the cost of oil changes, the occasional flat tire and gas money to get to where i want to go... I could get used to this

sold the supercharger setup, its now on a friends 24v mk2. that should be interesting if its ever finished.

doing the turbo thing for 2012. need to do small stuff, valve guide seals, swap the vr control arms and all that out for 2.0 stuff/vr hubs to run the 5x100 bogarts i have. buy a turbo, undecided still. the 6266 looks good though. then let the ivans tune it, hopefully run 11's, and call it a day.

Adam and I haven't made a decent pass in our car since '09. We made so much HP that it overwhelmed our budget. Since then, we've had a couple half-ast seasons, lost our local track and have been messing around with an automatic tranny in hopes that it will put the power to the ground without having to rebuild every week or so.

In fact we were making the final test on the auto the weekend before the 'Classic last September when the box let go. We pushed it on the trailer and haven't touched it since. Without a local 1/4 mile track, our testing effort reached a new low. My file of data is two pages.....for three seasons.

Now that we have Gateway Motorsports Park back (fifteen minutes from my house), we have a renewed enthusiasm and plan to dig into it again after the holidays. IFO is coming to STL and the regular weekly program is coming back as well.

We're gonna settle for running in the 10's for now so all we need to do is update the cage, get belts, new helmet and finish our auto project.

I'm not going to commit to any out of town race until we're actually in the van and driving down the road to it. I've dumped on Mark Morris twice now because of our half-hearted effort. If we show up at the gate, then we're coming.

A quick note of thanks to those of you who stick with it and post results here. You guys keep that little smattering of interest that remains going just one more pass.

    Good luck for 2012, everyone!

Yeah we got the 300M shaft last year and it seems to be a bad mamma-jamma. I'm eager to see what "let go" last Septmenber. We'll know in a couple of weeks.

I'm convinced this auto is going to be the way to go for big-hp cars.

Anyone know what the mk4 stock turbo record is these days? I know big turbos are a dime a dozen around here. Has anyone even messed with stock stuff since 03-04? Im way out of the 1.8t loop haha.

I thought Chim Chim still held the fastest stock K03 time w/ just a gutted mk4 chasis and some bigger fueling.

Changed directions with my build a little bit. The A2W intercooler will be sitting on the shelf a little longer to make room for an A2A and the 26" tires will be moving out the way for some 24.5's.

I think it will be more fun to use the A2A and be able to fit into both sfwd and outlaw with just a change of the tires.
