Drill the oem rivets and install stronger bolt cut and weld head. Par looks goods, your times are gonna drop quick now
it came with two billet shift forks and i plan on putting another roll pin inside the original one for added shear strength.

So i finally collected the parts i am going to upgrade for this years race season.
I snatched up John Betz Roll cage from his red corrado.
I got the hook up from my good friend Aaron on a set of 1000cc Injectors.
Just got a new 044 pump for the new 034efi Surge tank and i got a new clutch pac
for this year. 2600lbs PP 6 puc disc 9.5lbs Flywheel.
and last but not least My main man Jerry Rynolds AKA White Beard is machining me a fully ported and polished 16v head.
Going to the Dyno and retune for c16 so i can turn the boost all the way up on the GT3076
looking to make 550+whp and finally run a low 11 second 1/4 mile this year. i currently run 12.30 @ 117mph on pump gas 92 octane at 24psi boost. So hopefully 150whp more will get me 1.0 second faster in the 1/4 mile.
This year we're planning bigger and better things after a good season for us last year. Its all going on 2.slowslow's blue gti. We're doing a complete fuel upgrade to run e85 with 80# injectors, 2 044's with a surge tank, new -8 fuel rail and an Areomotive FPR. We're also upgrading to PT6766 BB turbo and full 3 inch v-band aluminum exhaust with a precision 46mm WG and new tial 50mm BOV. We're going to be running Lugtronic and putting a full 10 point cage. We also have a bunch of other little things happening to cut down weight from the cage like swapping to 4 lug and taking out the heater box and all the tar from the inside of the car. Upgraded to level 5.9 axles and have a full slicks and skinnies set up. Putting some arp hardware into the block and hope it last till we can build the motor. The trans will be stock till next season. We're hoping to have a good year after going 11.0 last year with a small t3t4 turbo on 36# injectors running pump 93 on a C2 chip. We have almost all the parts ready to in and we're just waiting on a few things that have to be done first....
I've been doing some work on my gti but it won't be out this season and i'm in no rush. i'm having a lot more fun helping a friend out then stressing about my own car for now.
SQS changed they heat treatment does not look at all the same as the one i used, now if they would spline the inputshaft where 3rd is, it would not twist and break, i ask them to do that and don't want too??
easy to understand, when you hit 3rd gear, that twin wheel is help by splines only on the 4th, so all that force applied in 3rd on the twin wheel, wants to twist and breaks, that is what happen to us, they fix that, the get a even better gear set.

is it just 2.94 or 3.11 that you need to machine the pinion area
Bought a VF turbo R32 with 156k on it so recently I've been de-turbo'ing and going back to stock -- while I did that I went through the entire engine and resealed everything on the engine, valve stems to oil pan -- new clutch, new chains, new sensors, new engine mounts etc. Preventative maintenance... hoping to keep this one for a while -- its going to replace the rabbit hopefully.

I had to put everything on hold due to divorce. But things are getting sorted out now and i can get back to racing...miss the rush so much
Glad to hear this. I know this turbo has more in it and the engine does to. P&P which will make a difference and the conservitive timing due to the pump gas is history.
I am looking forward to numbers like that.
Its amazing how many toys you can buy when not dumping all the toy fund into a car... although i think about doing another car daily
We also have a RZR which is pretty fun but considering trading it in on a new XP 4 seater
