California Mk1 Caddy Love - Intro

Hey everyone!
Checking in from the Bay Area, California here.
Just talked my neighbor into finally selling me his 81' VW Caddy.
He is as meticulous as me with his records and has an incredible amount of work into the truck.

1984 GTI Dash, '84 Jetta Door Cards, Recaro SRD seats, Borbet wheels, Momo wheel and shift knob, 'rocco 16v 10.1" Disk brakes, 9" disk brakes in the rear, Neuspeed upper and lower front stress bars, new carpet kit, headliner, bed liner, Hella driving lights (off now), GTi Console, Newer model AC unit, Neuspeed springs in the front, KYB shocks all around, rebuilt 1993 2.0 8V with g-grind cam and Digifant Big Valve hydraulic head, late model Golf oil cooler, the list goes on.

Anyway I'm an absolute gear head and this shall be my commuter and daily driver. My 335 will be able to get some rest from the insane amount of driving I do.

Here she is the way I picked her up this evening after switching out the stock VW snowflakes to the Borbets, giving her a polish, and a good vacuuming.
